Answer:	There is a band that sits directly above the ankle. If you have fat ankles with those calves that band can be excruciatingly tight. I have to return mine because of that band. I like you am a little wary to order larger, that band may still be too tight regardless of the foot size.

Answer:	I have a very high arch and suffer from plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I wear one of these supports on my left foot under my sock everyday. It is the only thing that gives me any relief. I wear them for a day then throw them in the wash. I don't use the plastic piece. I have also found that fastening the Velcro, then just sliding it on and off makes them last longer.
Question:	Do you need to calibrate this electronic scale for the first time
Answer:	I can't wear them in my shoes as they become too tight. I just wear them around the house. If you want inserts for arch support, I recommend the Superfeet brand. Or just get a pair of Kuru shoes. Very comfortable. :-)

Answer:	Yes this scale does have an auto off feature and can be turned off manually.
Question:	How long do the batteries last with daily use
Answer:	Yes the stainless weighing platform is removable for cleaning. But the scale reading starts from 2grams, and then increments of 1 gram. It NEVER reads the first gram which is 1gram, it starts reading from 2 grams. Too bad.When buying make sure you buy the same product for $37.98 "Kitchen Scale - Bakers Math Kitchen Scale - KD8000 Scale by My Weight, Silver". The Seller/My Weigh didn't send me the AC Adapter along with my scale "My Weigh KD-8000 Kitchen And Craft Digital Scale + My Weigh AC Adapter". Of which it is clearly stated in the name that it comes with an AC Adapter which is why it goes for $49.98. I severally contacted the Supplier/My Weigh about this, they ignored my messages till Amazon intervened. They then responded saying the scale doesn't come with an AC Adapter but that they'll send me one. Ok, why deceive innocent buyers saying it comes with the adapter as indicated by the name and description? I just tried with whole coffee beans,. and I kept adding and adding till it finally read 1.0oz. meaning it was not showing me the increments as I was adding to reach 1.0 full ounce. it just finally displayed 1.0 oz but once you go over it will weigh and display in the tenth.

Answer:	Or 20 nickels should equal to 100 calibration weight

Answer:	It is not reliable with such small weights. I think such scales come with a minimum starting weight that is often greater than their minimal increment. I threw this away and got a more sensitive one.

Answer:	A 1 dollar bill weighs exactly 1.0 grams. Set the scale to grams, place a dollar bill on the scale of it the scale reads 1.0 grams scale is celebrated.

Question:	Does it weigh in tenths of a carat or do I need to convert from grams
Answer:	Place a sheet of paper/wax paper on the little pan before use. I encountered this problem when weighing out my nutritional supplement powders. Balance a small square pane of glass or acrylic panel on top of the pan provided and place your sample on top. Anything that sticks can be scraped off and recovered using a razor blade.

Answer:	Yes, but although the scale reads to milligrams, it's accuracy as listed in the manual is only .020g, or a tenth of a carat either way.
Question:	Can i use this for my cbd flowers
Answer:	I've had problems as well. When turned on and left to warm up it usually sets to "0". When I add reactants to the scale it doesn't move, then suddenly jumps to .006, then .007, then back to 0. It stays at 0 even when I add a little more. When put on the high priced scale it reads over .010, so this isn't good for anything small, certainly not a ",001g" scale. The other suggestion that one would use the 10g test weight, with the pan and then add the reactant doesn't work either (I didn't expect it to). This doesn't work as told.

Answer:	Yo Johnny, this is what i wanted to know b4 i bought this scale. Just like any other scale, u dont "set it" for a certain weight. you just know that an eighth is like 3.54 g and u just go by that. whatever u want to tare out of the weight just set it on the scale then press the "T" button so it zeros itself out so ur only weighing whats inside the baggy ;) Its so sensitive plus the numbers are so bright and easy to read! i put a ziplock on and it weighs 1.2g. A regular sandwich bags weigh .4g. It uses 2 AAA batt and not those button batts. Cant beat the price either.

Question:	How does it calculate ml if ml is a volume, not a weight
Answer:	I wish scales didn't have this--it's really just grams, changing the "gm" to "ml." Many kitchen liquids are around 1 g/ml, so it's not too far off for them. Oils are around 0.9 g/ml, so a reading of "10 ml" would actually be 10 gram, or about 11 ml. But honey is dense--about 1.4 g/ml. A reading of "10 ml" would actually be 7 grams.
Question:	can I put a bowl on it, zero it, then weigh only the contents of the bowl, not the bowl itself
Answer:	Yes, absolutely. You can put a bowl on it. Tun it on and it will start with zero. Then, you can weight your contents.
Question:	Does it come with the blueberries? Those are some good looking blueberries. This could be a deal breaker for me
Answer:	Really, if you think about it, the blueberries should come with the blue scale, red bell peppers with the red scale, and so on. Its as though no one on this thread sorts their M&M's by color before eating them!
