Answer:	This weighs in as little as tenths of an ounce. On a few occasions mail I brought to the Post Office was off be an ounce, but mostly it is quite accurate.

Answer:	There is a fold-up portion of the scale to accommodate top-heavy packages, so you can turn the package the other way to view the screen. If it is still too large, you can use something on the scale first, like a smaller cardboard box, zero the scale out with that extra box on there, then place your package on the extra box hopefully allowing you to view the scale readout. I often just use a plastic mixing bowl from the kitchen, zero it out, and then balance my large package on the bowl.

Answer:	The box says "Graduation: 0.1 oz" (yes, tenths), and when switching units, the unit weighs in individual grams (not portions thereof). At the low end, the smallest weight I can get it to register is 6 grams or 0.2 ounces (while these are close to equivalent, I'm not arriving at either of those figures by conversion; these are the lowest numbers I can get to show on the scale). Note, though, that readings in this range are not to be trusted, as they're inconsistent. I would place the scale's margin of error within 3-10 grams.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the weighing paltform? in other words, what box size can you put onto it without obstructing the led panel
Answer:	The platform measures 6 7/8" X 6". The distance from the back of the platform to the top of the display is about 8 1/8". Due to the angled display face, your box can slightly overhang the display and you can still read the weight. Question:	I'm having accuracy problems compared to post office scale. table is level. my scale weighs at 3lb.44oz.and po at 3lb.7.10 oz. should i return it
Answer:	7.1oz is equivalent to .44 of a lb. 16 ounces in a pound. so 7/1oz is 0.44. I haven't checked mine but I see on mine an "oz" on the top right - next to where you might find your "44" ... which signifies you are weighing at ounces vs grams, not necessarily that you have 44oz. Look more closely because you may actually have an accurate scale. Hope this helps and not too late of an answer.

Answer:	Maybe you can weigh a small bag but I am not sure about a small suitcase. It supposedly can take up to 86 pds. I only weigh small packages to ship on EBay so not sure about larger weights. Great scale though! I love it!

I ended up returning the first one (and the second one as well they had sent as a replacement) as both scales seemed to have issues with keeping a stable and consistent weight. I was very disappointed in how the scales were shipped.

Question:	Is the box is too big, if it hangs off the scale, would it still be weighed properly
Answer:	If the box were to big as far as how big? I have weighed boxes that are 24 in long with no problem and some that are 35 in wide. If it were to big and it was sagging on the floor, then I could see an issue.

Answer:	The cord is the same as an old fashioned telephone handset cord. If it's not long enough you can buy any length you need at an electronics store or here on Amazon.
Question:	What is the lightest gram measurement the scale will read
Answer:	I tested the scale with 1 sheet of 8.5x11 of paper. It did not show any measurement. With two sheets it read .006kg and .2oz, with three sheets .0010kg and .3 oz, hope that helps. The scale will calibrate and zero itself every time you turn it on. I'm happy with my purchase. I measure letters and packages on it.
Question:	Someone reported that this scale will read 7.6 oz but it won't read 10.6 it will only show as 10. Could anyone confirm this ? Thank you
Answer:	Yes. That is correct. I tested it tonight at your request. I placed three objects on the scale that all together weigh 10.00 oz. Then I added an object that weighs .6 oz. The display read 10 oz. Never did it read 10.6 oz. The same result whether the additional weight was .5, .4, .3, .2, or .8 oz. When I added a full ounce, then the display changed to 11 oz. I hope that answers your question.

After weighing the item in it's packaging I also take into consideration the amount of weight for tape used and any added paperwork; like packing slip, etc.. Answer:	Yes, I put a small stapler- personal use one, not business use one- on the scale and it weighed in at 2 oz. This scale weighs pounds, ounces and fractions of ounces ( not actually showing it as a fraction but in tens/tenths places). I can't remember what it was but something else I had weighed came in at .6 ounces. So yes, this scale can weigh items under a pound, just don't exceed the 85 pound max limit.

Question:	If an object is placed on the it when the scale is off, does the scale read zero when turned on or does it read the actual weight of the object
Answer:	Never tried that before but just did. Put my cell phone on the scale with the power off. When I turned the power on, the scale read '0.00'. When I took the cell phone off the scale with the power still on, it then read a negative number, which happened to be the same weight as the cell phone. Had to recycle the power to get it to operate correctly.

Answer:	I honestly thought I broke it at first because of the way it came opened. I was able to attach the top to the bottom. It's been working so far, accuracy is close if not correct when I go to the post office. The only problem is that the digital numbers go a little crazy and I just push the clear button to get the 00.00
Question:	If you have a large box that obscures the screen, does it hold the weight for reading after you take the box off
Answer:	No it doesn't. What I do is put the box on the scale, turn it on and lift the box. It will give you a negative number, but it's the same number as the weight of the box. Hope that helps!

Answer:	Ive never tried to reset it because I haven't needed to. It goes back to zero the minute you take the item off the scale. It comes with a cord to plug in to use and it comes with batteries.

Answer:	on Battery it has auto off. If plugged in it stays on

Answer:	If your letter, or package is weighing in ounces, you will be fine. The scale will give you an output of 1.2oz or .9oz or 2.7oz or whatever the weight may be. The only issure you will have is if the item weighs less than .1oz (1/10 of an ounce) .1 is the lowest measurement of this scale. So if your item is less than .1 oz, then your scale will read either .1 or 0.0. Any weight of .1 oz to 55.0.0 LBS this scale will weigh without problem.I hope this helps.
