Just like any other scale, u dont "set it" for a certain weight. you just know that an eighth is like 3.54 g and u just go by that. whatever u want to tare out of the weight just set it on the scale then press the "T" button so it zeros itself out so ur only weighing whats inside the baggy ;) Its so sensitive plus the numbers are so bright and easy to read! i put a ziplock on and it weighs 1.2g. A regular sandwich bags weigh .4g. It uses 2 AAA batt and not those button batts. Cant beat the price either.

Question:	Is the tare function easy to use
Answer:	The scale has auto shut off function. It won't use battery in this mode. Or you can take out the battery, if you don't use it for a long time.

Answer:	At first I stood the regular way on the scale but you are right--it is hard to balance that way--especially since I am tall and have long feet! So then I started weighing the other way (horizontal). You do cover up the wt. window, but I found that if I step off quickly and then look at the window, the weight will stay in the window for a few seconds so you can see it. I found that by doing it this way, I got a more accurate wt. reading.

Answer:	It uses the 2032 3V battery (small coin battery).
Question:	Is there a way to adjust the calibration/recalibrate
Answer:	Just below the digital screen you will see the words "zero" and "unit". if you press zero, it will tare the scale for you.
Question:	Anybody faced the same issue? I tried to slide a square on the back to open to put batteries, but it wouldn't move. Can't use it
Answer:	Basically, you have to center whatever you put on it. If all the weight is on the arms, as long as your container sits evenly across the three legs it will work.
Question:	Does it already come calibrated
Answer:	Folded up just under 6" long, 1.5"wide. I carry it in a sunglasses case in my purse for out to eat situations. It fits perfectly inside.
