Answer: No water splatter. I have a pullout spray spout, and water does not splash with either stream of water or spray mode. Holes are big enough in mat and it sits far enough off the sink base that this is not a problem. I have had the water splatter problem too with mats that sit directly on the sink base.

I did an experiment filling the groove all the way around the 8. 93-in x 12. 89-in Everyday Cutting Board with a little water. It held 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon. It does easily pour out as I found when I did this test.

Answer: Not only are they dishwasher safe, with zero warping in the bottom on high temp wash, but they don't scratch like the cheaper PVC ones that these replaced. My wife and I are somewhat germophobic and generally use them once and drop them in the dishwasher (we bought a dozen to use that way), so they have been washed on high temp in a new machine probably 25-30 times since we've bought them. And they still look new, with very sharp knives being used upon them. Haven't had that with any other product!

Answer: It is reversible. But, only one side has the trough. It would probably hold all the juices from a chicken, but a turkey might be too much. You might have to use some paper towels to make sure it wouldn't overflow. Good idea to use one side for vegetables exclusively. It's my favorite cutting board even if the trough isn't huge.
