Answer:	Yes, the all-glass top is liquid proof. Be aware the sides are NOT liquid proof, and a small amount of liquid can get in through the holes that the front 2 buttons occupy. So long as you don't have a high-volume accident with any liquid thinner than cooking oil, you will be fine.

Answer:	There are no holes cut out for either the readout or the buttons. It all happens behind one flat sheet of seamless glass. No cracks, no seams, no cuts, no crevices. Nothing will get in there from the front/top side.

Answer:	Very good. I can't tell how 'robust' it is ... how it stands to rough use as I don't use mine so often and am careful with it when I do. But it feels good, works well, stuff makes sense; easy to clean. Stores nicely and nearly invisibly on top of countertop microwave. I researched just about every one of these on here. This won out in a number of characteristics 'in writing'. When I got it - there was not a single characteristic that I though I had been misled on. Exactly as expected. Happy with purchase.

Answer:	I wish scales didn't have this--it's really just grams, changing the "gm" to "ml." Many kitchen liquids are around 1 g/ml, so it's not too far off for them. Oils are around 0.9 g/ml, so a reading of "10 ml" would actually be 10 gram, or about 11 ml. But honey is dense--about 1.4 g/ml. A reading of "10 ml" would actually be 7 grams.

Answer:	Yes, absolutely. You can put a bowl on it. Tun it on and it will start with zero. Then, you can weight your contents.

Answer:	Really, if you think about it, the blueberries should come with the blue scale, red bell peppers with the red scale, and so on. Its as though no one on this thread sorts their M&M's by color before eating them!

Answer:	Yes this scale does have an auto off feature and can be turned off manually.

Answer:	Yes the stainless weighing platform is removable for cleaning. But the scale reading starts from 2grams, and then increments of 1 gram. It NEVER reads the first gram which is 1gram, it starts reading from 2 grams. Too bad.When buying make sure you buy the same product for $37.98 "Kitchen Scale - Bakers Math Kitchen Scale - KD8000 Scale by My Weight, Silver". The Seller/My Weigh didn't send me the AC Adapter along with my scale "My Weigh KD-8000 Kitchen And Craft Digital Scale + My Weigh AC Adapter". Of which it is clearly stated in the name that it comes with an AC Adapter which is why it goes for $49.98. I severally contacted the Supplier/My Weigh about this, they ignored my messages till Amazon intervened. They then responded saying the scale doesn't come with an AC Adapter but that they'll send me one. Ok, why deceive innocent buyers saying it comes with the adapter as indicated by the name and description? And it costs much more, whereas one could easily buy the AC Adapter meant for it from same Supplier/My Weigh for less than $5.I hope this helps.

Answer:	I just purchased this, and it does not weigh in the, tenth of an ounce. I just tried with whole coffee beans,. and I kept adding and adding till it finally read 1.0oz. meaning it was not showing me the increments as I was adding to reach 1.0 full ounce. it just finally displayed 1.0 oz but once you go over it will weigh and display in the tenth.

Answer:	The blue glow you see in the photo of the scale is "light" therefore you can "you guessed it" read it in the dark. Although pouring wet and dry ingredents into something on a scale in the dark is not fun.. Its easily readable in any light or dim situation...

If you actually ment things like 10's or 100's of a gram you should look for a mechanical scale or a chemestry deal... It only does whole grams... That in itself is accurate enough to bake or cool with unless you trying to measure pinches of stuff... It does di 10ths on oz's
