Question:	How does it calculate ml if ml is a volume, not a weight
Answer:	I wish scales didn't have this--it's really just grams, changing the "gm" to "ml." Many kitchen liquids are around 1 g/ml, so it's not too far off for them. Oils are around 0.9 g/ml, so a reading of "10 ml" would actually be 10 gram, or about 11 ml. But honey is dense--about 1.4 g/ml. A reading of "10 ml" would actually be 7 grams.
Question:	can I put a bowl on it, zero it, then weigh only the contents of the bowl, not the bowl itself
Answer:	Yes, absolutely. You can put a bowl on it. Tun it on and it will start with zero. Then, you can weight your contents.
Question:	Does it come with the blueberries? Those are some good looking blueberries. This could be a deal breaker for me
Answer:	Really, if you think about it, the blueberries should come with the blue scale, red bell peppers with the red scale, and so on. Its as though no one on this thread sorts their M&M's by color before eating them!

Answer:	You can press PCS then M and see if that works.
Question:	Does this scale include lbs as a measurement unit? Mine doesn't -- It looks like you have to do some math and convert from g or oz. is that right
Answer:	No, it doesn't measure pounds. It's probably too small to have that capability anyway. Small being a convenient size to measure grams or ounces, or pieces and then the weight of those pieces. I actually find this scale quite convenient for even office use to see how much an envelope weighs!
Question:	How do you use this scale for postage? That's why I bought it
Answer:	Just set the envelope of box in scale. It won’t work for big boxes.

Question:	Does it also go negative? For example, if I have a bowl with food in it and tare it, then remove some of the food, does it show a negative number
Answer:	I also needed to know if it would go negative 😊. The reason we use the negative measurements is this: if I am making a recipe, and I need to add 20 grams of honey, rather than messing up a measuring cup, you put the open honey jar (you don't want to include cap weight) on the scale and tare or "zero" it. Then, pick up the honey, put in about what you think is about 65% of your desired weight. Then put the honey jar back on the scale. The amount it shows in a negative number is the number of units (for me, usually grams) that you added to your recipe. Repeat pouring in until the scale registers as a negative number what you were looking to add (in this example, at the end it would say -20g).
Question:	Why are you using horribly faked superimposed photos of food? It throws off the scale of the product
Answer:	That's for "scale" (it's small: you put food on it, not people). Yes, these are definitely photoshopped, which is common here on Amazon. (If you click the strawberries and then hover your mouse over the different colors, you'll see that these are the EXACT same strawberries in each picture. ) Take a look at the review photos for something more real.
Question:	Could this scale be used to weigh a small cat under 10lbs if I put cat in a box
Answer:	"Schrodinger's cat" LOL! Patricia, I use my scale to weigh my parrot. i just have to get him to hold still for a second which I do by holding an almond in front of him. Cats usually momentary freeze when they see something interesting to them as well. Alternatively, you could make an odd sound, like a distressed mouse squeak. Your cat will probably freeze at that in order to determine where the noise is coming from. Let the cat play in the box before you put it on the scale so she/he will be used to being in it.
Question:	Are all the pictured foods weightless
Answer:	If you put the food on the scale and then turn the switch on, the scale will automatically zero. This is a very intelligent function.I found out in my scale which received a few days ago.So that the pictures are not wrong.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by "automatically" but there is a button labeled "Mode" that cycles through the various units of measure. Your last selection is remembered after the scale is turned off. The display modes are (using 500 grams as example): Unit: Display Shows Grams: 500 g Kilograms: 0.500 kg Ounces: 17.64 oz Pounds: 1.102 lb Pounds ounces: 1. 1.64 lb.oz
Question:	What is the voltage and minimum current requirement for the scale
Answer:	As you probably know, this scale runs on three AA batteries. The power adapter (search Amazon.com for: "AC Adapter For My Weigh 7000g and 300g Scales") has a non-polarized standard two prong American plug. This adapter will run on 100VAC-240VAC 50/60Hz and draws 0.3A. The adapter output is 5VDC at 300MA. Note: Although this adapter is made for American receptacles, it could of course be fitted with an adapter for another other country as long as the input is adhered to. Hope this helps!
Question:	Does this scale "time out" and turn itself off? If so, how long does it take for it to time out
Answer:	Oddly the instructions to program the scale auto shut off time is not in the manual that came with the scale. But I found a manual online which has the instructions to change this setting. Here's a slightly edited typed excerpt from the manual I found online.Weight Response Speed And Auto Turn-OffPress and hold the HOLD & POWER button. Wait for the 5 second countdown to complete. You will begin in Weight Respone Speed settings. Press MODE to cycle between the following options, nb0 (longest) nb1 (intermediate) nb2 (fastest). Press TARE to select an option. I left mine at the default nb0 as I want accurate readings. Once we've selected the Weight Response Speed we are put in the Auto Turn-Off settings. The default is OFF 1 (2 minutes), OFF 2 (5 minutes), OFF 0 (Disabled as in the scale will stay on forever or till the batteries die or AC adapter is unplugged, or if you're nice, you turn off the power).Hope that helps some people =)
