Answer:	It says that it fits 4.5-5 quart mixers, but it doesn't fit my daughter's 4.5 very well. I can't imagine it fitting a 5 quart, but maybe. The shield that came with my 6 quart stand and lift fits perfectly. If I had to do it over I would have bought her an actual Kitchenaid brand shield.

Answer:	I don’t know about that particular model but the shield wouldn’t stay snapped on by stainless bowl, even breathing closely made it pop off. I’ve seen many who had this problem even in the Kitchen Aid website with their shield.

Answer:	I think it is. Ours didn't fit so we threw it away. I would recommend going to kitchenaide directly if possible.

Answer:	Yes with both. The recipe book only has 11 recipes (mostly drinks) but you can check the Vitamix website for more recipes.
Question:	will it scratch the table
Answer:	I have a dry container but grind rice, quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat in the wet one. Don’t like the dry one at all. When grinding in the wet one, flour is very fine, almost the same as the bought one. Can’t say this about the dry container. So for me it’s almost useless. Now want to buy a 48 ounce container for smaller portions.
