I was looking for my white ones which are softer the other day but did not find them so I can not state how they react with aluminum. I do suggest using the 1" diameter instead of the 2" ... much cheaper and will work just as well in a thin weld bead. Let your buffer/grinder run at full speed for best results, do not bear down so much that you drop RPM.

Answer:	You can try it, but be aware that that thin surface coating is primarily paper. There is no guarantee that it will not bubble a bit when it is wet with paint. I definitely would not thin the paint with water.

Answer:	it will work on stainless steel. if you are using clear coat, the surface needs to be rough in order for it to stick. if you are using the lacquer paint, it will stick to stainless fairly well. it has to be dry and clean at start and dont get it wet for at least 24 hours.

Answer:	Hello, I don't know what your picture is made of. Is it a print on paper, a painting, or something else?Rustoleum spray lacquer is not compatible with acrylic, so could ruin your art if there is an acrylic finish already on it. I recommend you get a spray can of Krylon Crystal Clear spray ACRYLIC (not lacquer) in gloss, satin, matte, or what ever finish you want. This is compatible with many different types of paints and finishes. Test it first, if you can. I don't recommend either finish for valuable art. Michael's also has various spray finishes (more expensive) made for coating prints and paintings, like picture varnish or something similar. (I usually use Rustoleum spray lacquer only on ceramics and metal.) Good luck!!!

Answer:	I have a son that was a skateboarder, I don't think I'd rely on this to protect the underside of a skateboard in use. It would be fine for a light coverage, but for a board, you'd need a poly or something thicker and stronger. This stuff is great for display items, I used it on Christmas ornaments I hand painted. Paint held up fine but it wasn't being battered. I suggest a thick polyurethane if your goal is to keep the underside of a board the same.

Answer:	It can be sprayed on anything. Multiple coats will build thickness. The solvents will attack some rubber or some plastics. After it dries, continuous flexing would crack a coating.

Answer:	Hi, Our 32 oz qts will cover about 150 sq feet. Depending on your painting technique. White paints however, because they have so little pigment don't cover as much. If you are using a paint gun they do cover much better. We recommend the Earlex 5500 paint gun. You can also run the WATER based poly top coat through that gun as well just make sure you thoroughly clean it out after. Or you can use a foam brush or a synthetic bristle brush to put on the WATER based top coat. Don't use an oil base top coat or the chances of it yellowing are extremely high. Question:	Dishwasher safe to clean
Answer:	I don't find these mats non-slip on either side. They were a waste of money for me. They are good to place hot pans on after taking out of the oven, but they slip around the surface of a pan quite easily and on a bare wooden surface. If you want something that is skid proof I would suggest the much thinner, almost transparent sheets you can find on Amazon. I have those on my wooden kitchen table and use as a work surface. They don't move at all!
Question:	Are the feet wobbly or solid on the sink bottom
Answer:	I think I would. I have a cutting board that slips when I use it and I have been placing it on my new mats and it has not slipped since I have been doing that. I love the mats. They are a terrific size. I have wood counters and the mats helps protect it from water.
