Answer:	Yes, you can adjust the tilt. The wooden base has four different slots carved into it. You can adjust the tilt (and adjust for various thicknesses of books) by moving the plastic piece that serves as a backboard into different slot nearer or farther away from the clear cover.

Answer:	The wood base is 15 3/4" x 6" x 1" and the attached acrylic front piece is 15 3/4" x 11". The loose acrylic piece that sits behind the cookbook (you place it in the slot on the wood base that best fits the thickness of the book) is 11 3/4" x 8". When folded flat for storage, the overall dimensions are 15 3/4" wide x 11 3/8" high x 1 3/4" deep (this accounts for the feet and hinges.) It is nicely finished, attractive and sized to accommodate a variety of book sizes from 4 1/2" deep to quite thin at 3/4". Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	There are actually 2 pieces of clear plastic included. One is fixed on a hinge and is the 'front' protection. The cookbook actually sits behind that. The 2nd piece of plastic is not attached - it slides into one of the 4 slots on the wood base and represents the 'back' support. In essence, the cookbook is sandwiched between the two pieces of plastic. As there ar 4 slots, it can hold a very thick cookbook. Hope it helps!

Question:	How large of an oil painting would this hold
Answer:	Loved it. Sturdy. Keeps your cookbook clean!
Question:	Would this hold a vertical 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock (menu) satisfactorily? Would paper be too light/not weigh it down enough for it to stay put
Answer:	I don't have mine any more, but my go-to routine for anything impossibly dirty is to rub undiluted dishwashing detergent all over it, rubbing well. Let it set for 10 minutes. Take a food scraper or old credit card and holding it a 90- 45° angle, scrape off grease and detergent. Wash under hot water, applying more detergent if needed. If that doesn't work, Windex might, or soak it in 50/50 water vinegar solution for at least a half hour, then rinse. If it's still cloudy, I don't know what else might work, sorry.
Question:	Will this hold a picture frame
Answer:	Yes. I have put mine it the top part of my dishwasher and it was fine.

Answer:	it is more about the weight not the size , as it isn't made to hold a very heavy item.

Answer:	This should work fine with 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. I don't believe paper would be too light

Answer:	I have several large plates that I display one of them sits on this size and the other sits on a plastic one that is larger...I have had no problems with them being secure.Hope this helps.
