Answer:	I would have to guess that there may be something wrong with your unit. Mine has worked like a charm on all different sizes and types of jars. There have been a few lids on so tight that I had to hold the power control for a long time before there was enough pressure to open it. If there's a jar in there that won't open and the unit won't let go, wait and try again. Or is there any way to contact the company via email?

Answer:	Yes, the smaller item in this kit has a slot at its end. Slide the slot over the pet can pull tab and rotate the item up which "pops" the pull tab. You then must still use a finger to pull the tab to completely remove the can lid. There are, however, much better assisting products that are specifically designed to use with pet can lids.

Not a standard Mason jar. Basically, you hang this in your kitchen for decoration and use a grippy-pad for actually opening stuff.

Both use the lower opening that actually looks like it's part of the handle, right above the black comfort grips. I just tried them out again, and it does work. These are also less heavy than other similar styles, which made them easier for me to use. Hope that helps some, belated though it is!

The Use the grip that best fits the jar: (1) small jars -- use the handle, (2) medium jars -- use inner grip of the head, (3) use outer grip of the head. Each grip has teeth that will hold onto the lid. Then, holding the jar still (with a hand or between the legs, whatever works!), turn the lid to loosen. Left to loosen; right to tighten. Answer:	It depends. It didn't work on the caps from hell on the 2.5 Liter concentrated Nitric Acid bottles at work, but it has worked on caps, both jar and bottle caps, at home. You do have to put the cap in the best-fitting area and squeeze hard. It's easier than doing it bare-handed, and easier than using a rubber glove to open a bottle cap, though.

Answer:	Yes but you may need to steady the bottle/jar somehow. I tried this when I had hand surgery. I gripped the object against my body in the crook of the arm on the surgery side and used the holder to turn the lid with the other hand. I suppose this could also be done by gripping the object between the knees. You have to be creative if you can only use one hand.

Answer:	NO, it won't! Not sure why so many people report that it will. The specs of this opener seem to be changing with time. I bought one in 2015, and the largest opening measures at 3-3/16 inch. I have just bought another one, the same exact product and the same exact page, and it's smaller, measures at 2-13/16 inch. No way either of these will work with a 4 inch lid.
