Answer:	The juicer is made out of zinc, and is plated with a less reactive metal. If/when that surface becomes damaged from normal wear and tear, the acid from the juices reactd with the zinc. This happened to mine within a few months. I initially wanted a solid stainless juicer, and would have been willing to pay extra for a premium item. Unfortunately, it's not possible to cast steels with the fine and complex 3D features needed for a table juicer. All table juicers are made from cast zinc, brass, bronze, or some other easy to cast material and then plated; if their description says stainless steel, they're misleading you. I've moved to a cheaper plastic one, and just buy a few extras. I'd rather replaced a juicer somewhat regularly than ingest a bunch of extra metals in each cocktail.

Answer:	No, I also have arthritis in my hands. I love this juicer,,,am going to make another 33 jars of lemon curd in Feb (we spend the winters in Arizona) and will have to juice over 100 lemons. This is a great product,,I love it!!!!!
Question:	How loud is it? There are several different responses. Can you comfortably hold a conversation while it is operating
Answer:	When it works, it is quiet and fast and you can hold a conversation fine while using it. After three months mine started making a loud grinding sound and the turbo function stopped all together. It sounded like the gears were no longer aligned.
Question:	How well does this work on small citrus such as key limes
Answer:	I haven't tried key limes. At BJ's (the local equivalent of Costco, etc.), they sell bags of undersized limes which aren't much bigger than key limes, and it works fine on them. You press down on the fruit with the palm of your hand on to a spinning plastic apparatus. It isn't dangerous, and I think you'd be fine if you're careful.
