Answer:	The juicer is made out of zinc, and is plated with a less reactive metal. If/when that surface becomes damaged from normal wear and tear, the acid from the juices reactd with the zinc. This happened to mine within a few months. I initially wanted a solid stainless juicer, and would have been willing to pay extra for a premium item. Unfortunately, it's not possible to cast steels with the fine and complex 3D features needed for a table juicer. All table juicers are made from cast zinc, brass, bronze, or some other easy to cast material and then plated; if their description says stainless steel, they're misleading you. I've moved to a cheaper plastic one, and just buy a few extras. I'd rather replaced a juicer somewhat regularly than ingest a bunch of extra metals in each cocktail.

Answer:	In the supplied Squeezer there are not instructions for usage or some kind of a manual which is noted in some reviews. This is an omission of the manufacturer.Here are some instructions how to use the Squeezer and how the lemons/limes should be prepared so one can squeeze more juice from them: 1) Wash the citrus fruit 2) Cut the both ends so the bark is almost removed. This opens more space for the upper cone to press down. 3) Cut the fruit about the great circle (i.e. along the middle) in two approximately equal parts. 4) Turn the obtained halves with their wider part upwards. Make at the end of the circle edge of each part 4-8 cuttings of the bark with, for example, 5-9 mm depth. This is very important because otherwise the edges of the bark will remain distorted (not inverted) after squeezing, which will result in loss of juice. 5) Put one of the halves with the wider part down in the squeezer and press the grips with one or two hands until the two cones almost touch each other. Take the remains out and repeat the procedure with the second half but do not remove the remains. Keep in mind that a little juice remains between the two nested bowls/cups. Tilt the Squeezer to pour this juice. 6) Open the juicer and put the remains of the first half upon the remains of the second half. Press again and you will get more juice. Open the juicer, interchange the places of the remains of the two halves and press again. In this way you will get several more drops of juice.

Answer:	This lemon press is a marvelous well made tool. It crushes 1/2 lemon and the juice runs through leaving the seeds and a little flat tire of a lemon. It is much easier than the old fashion glass juicers. I should have had one of these a long time ago!

Answer:	Made in China. But as others here have said I've had it for a long time, use it almost daily, it's extremely helpful (requires much less pressure), it is very sturdy & pretty. A very good purchase. Highly recommended.
Question:	Will the Orange one work well for lemons and limes too? I've got a small kitchen and only want to buy one
Answer:	I use it for everything and it works brilliantly, lemons, limes. No pips come out as the small juicing holes are small enough to stop them. Love this utensil, could not recommend it more highly. It is large but very sturdy.
Question:	I saw this orange squeezer in use on patis's mexican table pbs . anyone have any info on warranty? co is not very forthcoming on amazon's site

Question:	Is the yellow version larger than the green version? Does the yellow version do a good job with limes? Thanks
Answer:	Unless there has been a change (manufacturer: has there been a change?) -- there were three sizes and four models. There is a yellow model and a green model in the "lemon squeezing" size. There is a green model in the "lime squeezing" size. And there is an orange model in the "orange squeezing" size. I don't know why the manufacturer could not help out with this. I bought the yellow version and have squeezed some limes, for which purpose it has worked very well- minimum hand pressure, maximum juice, easy to clean. I share everyone else's concern about the durability of the nylon/plastic gears. They make squeezing easier (mechanical advantage), and if the manufacturer will live up to its "limited lifetime warranty", it's not much of an issue.

Answer:	Yes, minus the glass filled with orange juice. I love mine. It squeezes juice very well.

Question:	Does the ream do a good job extracting orange juice without having to jockey the orange around
Answer:	I love my juicer. It's good for me and my needs. I just didn't want to have another electrical appliance since my needs only require small jobs.
Question:	what is the diameter of the top piece alone
Answer:	If you mean the reamer part only it's a little less than 2.5". If you mean the whole strainer top, that is a little less than 3.5". I'll also add that I was a little wary of this product because of all the bad reviews, but I really love it!
Question:	Does the top prevent the seeds from going into the bowl? I have a similar juicer but the holes are too large and I always get seeds in the juice
Answer:	Some seeds occasionally end up in the bowl. I simply spoon them out, though.
Question:	Will this seat over a wide mouth mason jar
Answer:	Top too big for mason jar, also juice didn't like to drain down through the holes that were made to do that. I went to a different type as this model was not working as I had expected.

Answer:	it is 6 1/2 inches wide (well from spout to handle, 5 inches in diameter) and 3 inches tall, the bowl is 1 3/4inches high and the height including the center reamer is 3 inches tall.

Answer:	No, there is not a catch for seeds.
Question:	How many cups of liquid does it hold at one time
Answer:	It is small. It holds maybe 3/4 cup liquid. If you want one that holds quite a lot more, Le Creuset makes one.
Question:	Is the angled portion pointed enough to extract the juice? I bought one wih gentle angles; all it did was massage the oranges
