Question:	how do you assemble it? Instructions are in German and russian
Answer:	Food mills will separate the peels from cooked potatoes (and apples) but not from raw ones. You want a potato peeler for raw.
Question:	How many quarts capacity? Is it at least 3-1/2 Quarts
Answer:	I have had one for years and this year I tried it for tomatoes since I had so many left at the end of the season, and a frost predicted. I ended up with a lovely tomato juice - the mill took care of all the seeds and scraps of skin I might have missed. From there it was just a case of simmering it down to the consistency I wanted. It's now frozen and ready to become whatever I want, from pasta sauce to a Mexican sauce, or even tomato juice, or an addition to soups or casseroles/hot dishes. My favorite use for the Foley Mill is perfectly smooth avocado dip where I mix the milled avocado with mayo and salsa and lemon juice. It makes great mashed potatoes for my picky eaters who don't like any lumps. It's a great product.

Answer:	No - if you reverse the blade and turn it counter clockwise - it scrapes the grate.

Answer:	Sadly, NO, this is not made in the USA....I would have preferred it....It did however resemble closely my original...it does have a good, sturdy feel....have used it one canning season and did well.

Question:	Has anyone tried seeding raspberries with this
Answer:	No. This mill is for soft items. Tomatoes, cooked potatoes and similar. Peanuts are too solid an item to be milled.
Question:	where is this made? According to the box/product please. Amazon description contradicts itself
Answer:	It should be fine for making spaetzle using the largest disk, depending on how thick you want the dumplings to be.
Question:	how is the handle attached to the food mill? is it welded, attached with flat nails or all one piece with the body
Answer:	It removes tomato skins and seeds, so I would think it would work for tomato juice.
Question:	Anyone buy this recently? One person says it was made in China, one person says USA, but the ad says USA twice
Answer:	The company is Canadian and the products are made there as well. I'm pretty selective of the quality of my kitchen ware and this has the quality of things coming out of Italy and France, which is the best...from my perspective.
