| Answer: | Pretty sure it is exactly 12 inches - it fits on top of the ProBake Teflon Platinum Nonstick 12-Inch Pizza Pan - and comes all the way to the curved edge of the second pan. The rim on the New Star is included in the measurement. There are no protruding handles, etc. You should be ok w 12.5 inch clearance, although you could always bend it up a little on the edge if you need a 1/4 inch or so extra clearance. I prefer it for re-heating, not baking from scratch. For what it's worth, I try to use a pan or a mat under the screen because oil, cheese, or tomato sauce can drip through the grid when you're reheating pizza etc . |
