I have a couple other sets, but those are not as solid as this.One issue I have with this set is the ring. I don't know why they chose to use such a cheap material for the ring because it does rust in the dishwasher. Only the ring rusts - the spoons are fine as they are solid stainless steel. If I forget and put them in the DW, I just hand-wash and air dry and the rust is gone. I'm going to swap it out with a plain key ring that won't rust - problem solved.I'm buying another set today and will definitely recommend.UPDATE: I received the replacement set of these spoons and unfortunately they were NOTHING like my original set. These have a lower profile(especially 1 TBSP) which means they are shorter and wider. Might not be a problem for most if you're scooping out of a wide-mouth container. But the odd part is they're just not as shiny as the other ones I have. I've had my other set for several years and these are dull. I had to look twice to make sure they were genuine AMCO. They are nothing like the picture on Amazon or AMCO's website. |

I currently have one by my coffee maker to place a spoon in after stirring coffee, one by my microwave for utensils, one by on range island, & one on my cabinet beside the oven where I keep my air fryer. I also keep an extra one under the cabinet to use when we are cooking or eating outside. They all look like they did at the time I purchased them even though I occasionally wash them in the dishwasher. I only do that occasionally because all I normally need to do is just rinse them off in the sink! |

My big gripe with this set is that it has two 8" sauce pans but only one lid for both. It may appear that this set is made in Germany but reading the fine print I found out that it is made in China "to German specifications". |

| Answer: | It is not non-stick. Some oil or butter should be used to prevent sticking. The exterior is very high grade stainless steel, mirror polished on the outside and satin finish inside. In order to be used on induction ranges (our reason for buying) it has to have a disc of ferrous metal (likely mild steel) encapsulated in the bottom. We've been very pleased with ours. |
