Answer:	I have not attempted to leave the container outside in below temperatures.
Question:	Could anyone tell me the size of the holes in the 2 tops
Answer:	Went to the garage with a measuring tape, and the holes in the top of the screw-on lid are each 3/8 inch across. Not sure what you mean by "2 tops" - our Home-X spreader came with just the one screw-on top.
Question:	What happens when you mix the salt and seeds to get it all done at once
Answer:	This is surely not a serious question, but just in case, salt would kill any seeds that sprout, and would poison the soil for any other plant growth. Seeds will not survive on sidewalks & driveways where one would normally use salt.
Question:	Can the size of the openings be adjusted as I want to spread diatomasceous earth
Answer:	The holes in the lid are non-adjustable. I vary the spread of the material by the angle I hold the container and the way I shake the container side to side.

Answer:	We don't always use our lid, but have you tried contacting Moulmein customer service?

Answer:	Yes. Hooks up to the ATV/UTV and has a switch to turn on or off.
Question:	what is tge best way to clean after spreading fertilizer? can i just spray the motor off with a hose is the motor sealed
Answer:	I scrub mine with soap and water and a stiff brush and then hose off. Afterwards when it dries and before storing I always spray the metal shaft on the spinner motor with a lubricant. If you don't do this a lot of the time the spinner shaft will be froze up the next time you try and use it.
