Answer:	I would not recommend this product for any use. I used it 3-4 times with regular sized can and it worked poorly at best. Next time tried to use and the brand new Duracell batteries about a month later and it was not able to open anything. Wish I had returned it right off because then I found it was too late to return and I'm just out the money I paid for nothing useful. It only uses batteries and nothing "professional" about it.

Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

Answer:	Imagine getting something at the store where the package is hard plastic. You run to get scissors to cut through the package but with some effort, you still can't stretch it open without cutting further.. You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Still not frustrated?"Frustration-Free Packaging" is VERY straightforward packaging which makes opening said product(s) VERY seamless, is friendly to the environment by being recyclable, and is simply a no-brainer to open. This type of packaging comes cheaper because it is usually cheaper to manufacture a simple cardboard box/envelope (ordered in volume) versus the annoying plastic packaging or needlessly involved boxes that serve no useful function (i.e. complicated designs come at a cost).Some personal opinions:- I choose frustration-free regardless of price because of the ease of use when it comes to opening the items.- They're in some cases more reliable than the manufacturer's packaging being crammed into a box with bags of air and wiggle room in part due to shock sensitivity.- I've been cut before trying to open retail-packaged, clamshell packaging (the plastic that usually gets cut with scissors). Question:	How do you get to the battery section? I can’t open it
Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

Answer:	Imagine getting something at the store where the package is hard plastic. You run to get scissors to cut through the package but with some effort, you still can't stretch it open without cutting further.. You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Still not frustrated?"Frustration-Free Packaging" is VERY straightforward packaging which makes opening said product(s) VERY seamless, is friendly to the environment by being recyclable, and is simply a no-brainer to open. This type of packaging comes cheaper because it is usually cheaper to manufacture a simple cardboard box/envelope (ordered in volume) versus the annoying plastic packaging or needlessly involved boxes that serve no useful function (i.e. complicated designs come at a cost).Some personal opinions:- I choose frustration-free regardless of price because of the ease of use when it comes to opening the items.- They're in some cases more reliable than the manufacturer's packaging being crammed into a box with bags of air and wiggle room in part due to shock sensitivity.- I've been cut before trying to open retail-packaged, clamshell packaging (the plastic that usually gets cut with scissors). I wasn't pooling blood but I wasn't happy that this plastic is irritating and doesn't necessarily deter shoplifters (the original intention of this stupid packaging anyways). Shoplifters aren't always dimwitted...Some people may/may not share product pictures of this packaging as they unbox their item. Depending on their size, you may receive an envelope with a tab that you pull and voila! You can also get a big box fort that can double as a funhouse for younger kids yet that box was well worth carrying (insert big box item here haha).Enough of my scenarios, hope this clears up the misconceptions of "Frustration-Free Packaging." In short, you'll really enjoy the ease of use when it comes to opening your item. They kept it simple, unlike the hard plastic packages which cause annual blood loss due to cuts, injuries, and FRUSTRATION! :)

Answer:	Yes, in my opinion. I am elderly-74 yrs.-although my arthritis is not too bad. I estimate that the necessary force to push down the activator switch is less than 2 pounds. Hope this helps.

Operating the Can Opener

Step1 - Place the Can Opener on top of the can with its rim positioned in the groove between the Cutter and the Drive Wheel

Step2 - With the can on a flat surface, press the Button for about one second and release, then the Can Opener will start cutting the side of the can

Step3 - When the cutting has completed, press the button immediately to reverse the cutter

Step4 - Make sure that the cutter resets to the start position and the motor stops. Then, lift the can opener off the can

Trouble Shooting

1. If batteries are depleted, the can may not be released by pressing the button. Slide back the Battery Door and replace 2 AA batteries. The Can Opener should continue the cutting. Remember to replace the battery.

2. Cans with heavy seams and uneven rims may stall the Can Opener. If this happens, follow above procedure to release the can.

3. If the can is get stucked, please press the white button on the top of the can opener.

Note:

1.Use 2 new batteries ( High quality AA batteries), cheaper less quality new batteries are inadequate and may not preform as necessary.

2. After completely revolving around the can and cutting the edge, the can will still appear to be sealed. After prying up the lid will it be evident that the can and its resealable lid are detached.

3. Do not lift or forcefully remove the can opener from the can while it is operational. Forceful removal can cause damage to the knife-edge.

Question:	Does the opener stop automatically
Answer:	After I reverse the opener I have to take the top off to get it to stop.

Answer:	I’ve had mine for a year and have no rust issues as of yet. I use a damp cloth to wipe it off after using. If you are unsure about this can opener, don’t be. It’s a wonderful product.

Answer:	The first time we used it the same thing happened to us. Turns out it wasn't on the can correctly. My wife figured it out. Also, the first time the lid comes off it doesn't look like what you're used to. The whole top of the can comes off, not just inside the rim of the can. This opener really is pretty slick.

Answer:	After I was used it, this did not happen, because there is a magnet on the can opener to attract the lid, so it will not automatically fall or fly out
