Answer:	I would not recommend this product for any use. I used it 3-4 times with regular sized can and it worked poorly at best. Next time tried to use and the brand new Duracell batteries about a month later and it was not able to open anything. Wish I had returned it right off because then I found it was too late to return and I'm just out the money I paid for nothing useful. It only uses batteries and nothing "professional" about it.

Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

You run to get scissors to cut through the package but with some effort, you still can't stretch it open without cutting further.. You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Answer:	I've only used it for family sized cans, but it's tall enough to open large cans. However, I'm not sure if a commercial sized cans would fit.

Operating the Can Opener

Step1 - Place the Can Opener on top of the can with its rim positioned in the groove between the Cutter and the Drive Wheel

Step2 - With the can on a flat surface, press the Button for about one second and release, then the Can Opener will start cutting the side of the can

Step3 - When the cutting has completed, press the button immediately to reverse the cutter

Step4 - Make sure that the cutter resets to the start position and the motor stops. Then, lift the can opener off the can

Trouble Shooting

1. If batteries are depleted, the can may not be released by pressing the button. Slide back the Battery Door and replace 2 AA batteries. The Can Opener should continue the cutting. Remember to replace the battery.

2. Cans with heavy seams and uneven rims may stall the Can Opener. If this happens, follow above procedure to release the can.

3. If the can is get stucked, please press the white button on the top of the can opener.
