User questions & answers
Question: | Will these fit a Patron bottle |
Answer: | You need to twist out the diamond arbor but this is a wood cutting blade. Nothing in Diablo currently for aluminum in 8-1/4" |
Question: | Is it dishwasher safe? Thank you |
Answer: | This is a finishing saw blade. Used to make cross cuts and will work great for that. Most of the cutting o do an a table saw is rip cutting. So what I use is the Freud 7 1/4 " saw blades with the thin kerf. I use them om my 10" table saws . One saw has a rip blade the other is set up for cross cutting. The blades cut great and are cheaper to purchase . |
Question: | does this product fit the snow cone liquid bottles |
Answer: | I am trying to understand this as well. Physically or mechanically speaking, crosscutting or cutting against the grain is a different procedure than ripping which is cutting with the grain. Each procedure actually requires a blade with unique characteristics. Based on the this blade's specific design, it is possible, whether through testing or by calculation, that the manufacturer has arrived at these results. In short, it follows that trying to crosscut a member lesser than the recommendation, would more than likely result in tearout or splintering.I found the following article to be helpful: Woodworking-News: Woodworking Tips "Selecting the Right Saw Blade" |
Question: | Would this item work with beer or wine bottles |
Answer: | Yes, you should get a cut fine cut with it. |
Question: | Do these fit the very lage? bottles |
Answer: | I am not 100 percent sure, but I think the main difference is a thin kerf blade versus a standard kerf. Call Freud or a woodworking shop for the fine details if it really matters. I have had very good luck with this thin kerf blade. $50 is cheap for a woodworking saw blade, but it works very well. |
Question: | Do these pour continuously or do they stop after an ounce |
Answer: | On the Delphi Radial Arm Saw Forum, this is the 2nd most recommended blade behind the Forrest Woodworker 1 TCG which costs almost 3x as much and is a special order from Forrest. Slivers Mill carries it in stock. This Freud blade works very well on a RAS. It is not a negative grind blade which has the tendency to run forward over the wood more than this or the Woodworker 1. I have been a RAS user for over 30 years and highly recommend this blade. |
Question: | Does the "reflow hole" allow for oxygen or anything else to get in? Are these air tight |
Answer: | According to Freud the hook angle is 15 degreesTool Trader |
Question: | What is the largest diameter bottle opening they fit well |
Answer: | I have used it to cut floor boards, baseboards, 1/4 round trim, crown molding, framing studs, plywood, pine maple, oak, cedar, ash, cherry, knotty pine..... So much wood and still cuts like a hot knife through butter |

Product description
HOW TO POUR A MEASURED VOLUME OF LIQUID: Step 1 - Before using the pourer, soak it in warm, soapy water for 10-12 minutes, then rinse in cold water. Step 2 – In order to install, wet the cork in warm water and push the pourer straight into the bottle, making sure the collar fits snuggly over the opening. Step 3 - Hold the bottle at a 45-degree angle when pouring. Ensure a naturally pouring motion is used; do not try to "whip" or "baby" the bottle into pouring position. Step 4 - When the bottle is low, allow liquor to reach the neck of the bottle before tilting the 45-degree angle. Place the spout to the lip of the glass, then raise the tail of the bottle. Step 5 - To wash, soak the pourer in warm, soapy water, then rinse in cold water. Step 6 - If cork fins flatten, run it under hot water for approximately 30 seconds, then run under cold water. This will straighten the fins. To remove, twist and pull straight up out of the bottle. For best performance with spirits, we recommend to wash it weekly, when used with cordials, syrups, or juices, wash nightly. NOTE: Do not run through the dishwasher or wash in extremely hot water. Pourers will not be effective with water.
- This 1 1/2 oz pourer is an effortless way to reduce overpouring and spills thus saving an additional two to four drinks per bottle. It means that our measured liquor pourer will pay for itself in just one bottle.
- Each pourer features a clear spout that will disguise wear and tear, and a yellow tail to easily distinguish it from liquor pourers of different sizes.
- Two ball bearings, for a controlled, smoother, more accurate pour. Bottom design that ensures that the ball bearings will never fall into the bottle.
- Pourer is made out of durable virgin food grade plastic and will not corrode.
- Can be fitted on standard 750 ml liquor bottles. Also can be used with juice, syrups, and oils. Note: inaccurate pourers will occur when used with water.

Question: | Can you purchase only the cap lids, without purchasing the bottle and the pour spout |
Answer: | Yes, I haven’t had issues. I’ve asked professional bartenders and I took their advice and just tap the cover if it gets stuck |
Question: | can you store them on their side |
Answer: | I didn't have it long enough to put in the dishwasher. It developed a crack just below the cap and would leak as you shook it. The metal is so thin. I just don't recommend this. |
Question: | Is the pour hole filtered or can things such as fruit flies and dust get in it |
Answer: | I don't have it anymore, it developed a crack in the lid after a short period of use. It was returned. Couldn't handle hand shaking. A machine would tear it apart. |
Question: | Do you have these in other colors I need to purchase 2 more I bought the 6 pack |
Answer: | China |
