Answer:	I guess you could use it for anything, however, these are designed to provide only limited chilling for alcoholic beverages which require less of a chill. Iced coffee I believe would need ice cubes in order to achieve the full chilliness required.

Answer:	Long enough for a few drinks. There is a liquid center in the stainless cubes that stay cold for quite a while

How to use

1. Get your cubes cleaned.

2. Hold the cubes under running water to slightly damp and keep them in the freezer for 1-2 hours.

3.Use the tong to take 2-4 frozen cubes into your cup and enjoy your perfectly cool drink.

Umm...time for a refresher on the definition of "solid": https://www.DICTIONARY.COM/browse/SOLID?s=t The part of the description that applies here is #3: "Having the interior completely filled up, free from cavities, or not hollow: for example, a solid piece of chocolate." The example is better than the description, because it demonstrates that in order for an item to be "solid ", the item must be made ENTIRELY and ONLY of that material. Even a small air bubble inside the buried inside disqualifies the item from being "solid". So the presence of liquid inside the cubes means they are not solid SS. I'm not saying they're inferior in any way - it appears that every manufacturer of SS cubes puts some kind of thermal liquid inside - presumably because the liquid maintains its low temperature longer than the SS surrounding it. But the cubes are made of more than one material, so the answer to whether they're solid SS is "No". In order for your answer to be "Yes", the cubes would need to be made only of SS - side to side, top to bottom - and have no other material inside them, including air. Having a little fun now, I just gotta point out that the other material here is not a solid at all; it is a liquid. So the word "solid" could never be applied to the cubes. Because liquids are not solids, the liquid would require something "pure" or "undiluted" to communicate the idea that no other type of material is in it.
