It's been called a church key as long as I can remember and was a very important tool if you liked a beverage every now and then. I'm 80 yrs old now. Back when we wanted to drink either a capped soft drink or a beer you needed an opener that had two opening "keys", one on one end to pry off a bottle cap and on the other end one to puncture the top of a beer can. Answer:	They are made of very poor steel opening a bottle was fairly easy but when it came to punching holes in a can was impossible

Answer:	The problem is on those milk jugs is that they do not leave a long enough place to grip and turn. But the things I can not open with out one, I can open with one of the grip rounds. You should have no problem with a milk carton also. It is a good buy for gripers. good luck.
