Answer:	These are made in China.

Answer:	Thumb holes? They're like mittens. One segment for the thumb and the other for the rest of your hand. The cotton insulation lining wears out really quickly though; mine only lasted about eight months before I had to replace them with traditional oven mitts.

Question:	Are they dishwasher safe
Answer:	I don't have a dishwasher so I can't say with 100% certainty, but these can take much higher temperatures than your dishwasher could ever put out. I believe these are good to about 400 degrees F and your dishwasher might get as high as 130 degrees F max. I just rinse mine off under hot water after using them and they clean right up. If they have flour and oil on them, I just add some soap and they wash off in about 5 seconds. The only bad thing i can see about washing these in a dishwasher is having them blown off from wherever you put them by the spray and maybe jamming one of the spray wands. They are pretty light and there is not much to hold them down. I love mine and use them a lot. They clean easily.
Question:	How long can I hold a hot pan while wearing these? 10 seconds? 30 seconds
Answer:	I use them for taking inner pot of instant pot out and lifting microwave things out. I would say over 30 seconds, I have never felt the heat come thru. I haven't tested the length of time tho.

Answer:	I would say the mittens are good for foods up to 425 - 475. I haven't had an issue taking food out of the oven

Answer:	The set I have was made in China and they do not fit very well. They are too narrow and do not allow a good spread between thumb and hand.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. Our oven mitts are made in China. We use a trusted manufacturing partner who we have been working with for years.
Question:	Are these mitts safe to wash
Answer:	They are machine washable and then we recommend that you just air dry them. It will not ruin them if you put them in the dryer, but we think they'll ultimately hold up better if you just air dry them. If you forget, there are actually washing instructions on the little tag on the inside of the mitts.
Question:	I have small hands and struggle feeling like I have good grip using a typical oven mitt. How do these handle for small (child-sized) hands
Answer:	These mitts look like they were designed with women in mind ...They are too small for many men over a medium build or with much above average hands ... any man over 200 lbs should definitely look elsewhere, as these will be too small ...kind of ridiculous you could have one size for all, from a 90 lb woman to a 250 lb man , and so they are too small for a lot of men .
Question:	Are they washable
Answer:	Yes, they are machine washable. You should wash them in cold on the gentle cycle and just lay them flat to dry. FYI, this info is also on the little tag on the inside of each mitt.

Question:	Can you hang/perch them over your oven door handle without using a hook
Answer:	The towels are so well made that I had to search to find a piece of the hemming thread to test. The borders are straight as an arrow and the towels are perfectly rectangular. How they sell them as reasonably as they do, I don't know. The small piece of thread that I was able to remove consisted of very short fibers that fluffed right up as soon as I pulled it apart. if it had been made of polyester, the fibers would have been much longer. I then dropped the fibers onto my ceramic cooktop --the fibers did not melt--they charred. If they had been polyester, they should have melted then caught fire. So my guess is that they are made of cotton. The small strip that is sewn diagonally into one of the corners to use for hanging, I don't know--it's a narrow, borderless strip of a totally different weave AND color. I suspect that it might be polyester, but I really can't tell. For the price, experimenting wouldn't be too costly, and even if it is poly, you might be able to get away with it. W.H.H.

Answer:	I have the potholders, rather than the mitts. The label on the potholders states that the fabric is 100% cotton. The online fabric descriptions for the mitts and potholders are similar, so I imagine the outer fabric on the mitts is also cotton. (Which makes sense; an outer fabric of polyester would be likely to melt.)
