Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't machine wash these gloves. The gloves are mostly silicone, except for the cuff and the lining which are fabric. I've had these gloves for a month or so. So far, I've been cleaning them by just scrubbing the silicone glove part in the sink, then letting them air dry. After a while when they get really dirty, I'll probably toss them in the washer.

Answer:	I can remove the majority of the lining by turning it inside out. It's loose from the inside of the glove. The result is what appears to be a double-glove, half silicone, half fabric. I can't completely separate them. So, you'd still be washing the silicone part, but you wouldn't have as much trouble getting it dry, I imagine.

Question:	Will these protect you if you are using lid to drain hot boiling water or liquid from pot and slosh water on hands or arms
Answer:	I was about to return these gloves when they were inadvertently thrown out. I did not find these gloves practical for use removing hot items from the oven. I felt the heat through the gloves within 5 seconds. Not sure about boiling water but I wouldn’t try.
Question:	I really need to know how long they are, do they almost reach the elbow
Answer:	From tip of long finger to edge of cuff is 13-1/2 inches. This reaches to about half-way between wrist and elbow on me, an average-sized lady. I highly recommend these gloves - Even for deep-fried turkey manipulation, these gloves have performed incredibly well!!

Answer:	Hand Wash Only in a Woolite type detergent Rinse in warm NOT hot water. let air dry COMPLETELY. VERY IMPORTANT THAT THEY ARE 100% COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE USE. OTHERWISE A HOT ITEM CAN CREATE STEAM AND BURN YOU SEVERELY WHEN YOU GRAB OR HOLD IT. CAUTION...DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER. NEVER USE THESE GLOVES WHEN THEY A EVEN A LITTLE DAMP OR WET
Question:	Will these protect from hot sugar, for candy making
Answer:	These gloves are strictly for handling oven baked products. Gloves to handle hot candy are made from a different coated non stick fabric.
