Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't machine wash these gloves. The gloves are mostly silicone, except for the cuff and the lining which are fabric. I've had these gloves for a month or so. So far, I've been cleaning them by just scrubbing the silicone glove part in the sink, then letting them air dry. After a while when they get really dirty, I'll probably toss them in the washer.

Answer:	My hands are XL - XXL and they fix perfectly. My Wife hands are much smaller and she can use them without a problem as well.

Answer:	You could probably use them for that. They are pretty thick, similar to a leather work glove for a dexterity comparison.

Answer:	I cannot say because I have never worked with hot sugar. I have used them for removing hot pans from the oven and off the BBQ pit. Be advised something if held too long you will began to feel the heat. Other then that I am very pleased with the gloves. I hope this helps in some way.
