Answer:	Feels firm although it is the medium one - but certainly doesn't feel like a rock (incidentally, the firm one does indeed feel like a rock). Had this cushion literally for years; use it everyday, all day. Never gets soft and never loses its shape. Answer:	I purchased this pillow following back surgery.O found that it is comfortable to sit on,in a car.But I never could use it on a soft cushioned chair,or couch.I walked around the house,trying it on every chair,and I found that if I took the cushion,out of a hard,wooden seated chair,that I could use this cushion.This is a perfect example of why something that is supposed to be good for body alignment,is not comfortable for everyone.

Answer:	No, it will probably help a little bit - it may take a few minutes longer for the numbness to set in, but this is not a good solution for pressure relief. I have a similar issue, but not as severe. At the moment I do not own a better solution, so I continue to use this cushion, but my thighs still go numb. Possibly a gel cushion might help you. Also check into cushions used for wheelchairs and rehab.

Question:	how firm is this cushion? I i have tried two others that were too firm and extremelly uncomfortable
Answer:	I'd say its on the medium to firm side. I don't find it uncomfortable, per say. But I do have an older one, about 8 years old, that is a tiny touch softer/squishier. I'd rate the older one medium. If I was sitting on them with my eyes closed, I think I would be able to tell the difference, but I don't mind the firmer one. I think it really depends on what surface you're using it on. It has to be flat. Otherwise, the cushion will be contorted into the wrong position. That's probably more important that the small differences in softness/firmness, imo. This needs the right posture/positioning in order to give you any benefits.
