Question:	How many watts has to be your microwave
Answer:	I wish I read this review before I purchased this popper! I put just one lid full of brand new popcorn (It was Black Jewel and doesn't expire till 2022) in and about two TSP of butter in the silicone lid. It started popping immediately but luckily I was standing by the microwave watching it when the microwave sparked. I stopped it, pulled out the popper and inspected it. I noticed that the square cardboard (waveguide cover) had a small burnt spot on it. Thinking that the microwave was suddenly going bad, I put a cup of water in the microwave to see if the problem would duplicate, but it was fine! So I restarted it again with the popper and within about 10 seconds it was sparking like mad and I thought I saw a flame. I immediately stopped it again and now the waveguide cover has a huge burnt spot on it. I have no idea why this is happening but the popper will have to be returned.

Answer:	As far as I can tell, it looks like the only difference is that this one comes with a booklet and popcorn whereas the other one does not. If you are considering buying this, it is a great buy. No more additives and preservatives in that microwave popcorn! Just a little oil, some sea salt, popcorn kernels, and 5 minutes later you have a whole pot full of popcorn! And if you can't finish it, just leave it in the pot till the next day or even 2 days later and it doesn't even get soggy! I love it!!

In a saucepan, melt 1 cups butter over medium-high heat. Add 2 cups brown sugar and 1 cup syrup, stirring to dissolve brown sugar. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and quickly stir in vanilla. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn, stir lightly to coat, cool down

Answer:	There are three (3) packets of popcorn and oil in each box. The kernels and oil are attached to each other so you get three packets of kernels and three packets of oil.
Question:	Can I use this in an air popper
Answer:	You could but only the popcorn seeds not the oil package nor the salt. You would have to add the salt and then melt the oil package package separately and then add it to the popcorn as seasoning if desired after the popcorn pops.

Answer:	It feeds maybe four people, but I didn't care for the popcorn at all, very tough and many hulls.

Answer:	It is not a hot air popper. You must use cooking oil such as canola oil.
Question:	most of these popcorn popers say they are dishwasher safe, including the more expensive West Bend. Is this one also dishwasher safe
Answer:	I would say the bottom is NOT dishwasher safe. The top should me. The thing only takes a minute to clean using normal hand washing. Really as easy as can be. I don't bother with a dishwasher on this
Question:	I love my popcorn popped in bacon grease (I know...but it is soooo good!) Would it work in the Stir Crazy
Answer:	Yes, yes you can. I have done it in the past with no problems in the Stir Crazy. Popcorn feels a little different after it cools. That's about it.
Question:	Has anyone used this model for roasting coffee
Answer:	Out of the box? No. It has a thermal cutoff switch rated for 350F (you need 400-420 or so), so it will start to, but won't get you very far past first crack. What I did was put a piece of thin fiberglass cloth (and I mean the thinnest stuff you can find at a hobby shop for model planes) between the thermal cutoff switch and the bottom of the pan. What I will probably do is swap the thermal switch for one with a higher temperature rating. This is definitely an at your own risk, fire hazard sort of thing, but it seemed like a more reasonable thing to do than put a convection oven on top of it. Use it outside on concrete. There will be smoke and coffee chaff. Give it an occasional shake too, don't rely on the stirring rod or you won't get an even roast, but I'm doing 3-4 scoops at a time and it's working really well.

Question:	Where can i get top vent cover
Answer:	I don't know about that. You might have something around the house that will work well. Tupperware top maybe etc. :)
Question:	How much oil? The instructions say to add 2 tbsp of oil and then 1 tbsp per cap full of kernels. I used 5 tbsp for 3 cap fulls but it seemed too much
Answer:	use one tbsp., the small measuring spoon, for each of the large spoons of kernels. Basically one to one. Also use colored coconut oil and flavocol for the best popcorn ever!!
Question:	this machine has to use oil? or you can be used with nothing
Answer:	Oil must be used.
Question:	Does this make crunchy popcorn? I tried the hot air popper and not satisfied with the popcorns
Answer:	You have to follow the directions exactly. We eat popcorn every night and am very pleased with this s popper.
