Answer:	No they will not unless you select the midi size, if you use the 22oz cups obviously they won't fit in the 13.5oz pressure cup you need the 28oz pressure cup

Answer:	you will need an air coupler, they only give you a few liners for it so after 1 or 2 paint jobs, you will need to get more, it can get a little expensive as each time you use a cup and throw them away , its 2.50-3.50 dollars depending on where you get them, so, primer sealer, one liner, base 1 liner, clear one liner etc

Answer:	Yes. Assuming your canning jars use the standard lid configuration, which nearly all canning jars do. I have 4oz, 16oz and 32oz canning jars with wide mouths. The Easy Fermenter Wide Mouth lids fit them all. It's not about the size of the jar, it's about the size of the lid. If it's a wide-mouth jar, these will fit regardless of volume of the jar.

Question:	does this system reduce the odor from fermenting garlic
Answer:	I am currently fermenting a 1 quart mason jar of nothing but garlic cloves in a 5% brine. Tons of bubbles at day 4, no smell. I am quite pleased with it.
Question:	Can you make beer or wine in this
Answer:	As an experienced home brewer I would say yes and no. Cider yes, wine probably, beer not so much. The reason is that beer foams up a bunch during fermentation so you would have to leave a lot of "head space" or that foam (krausen) would spray out of the top, or clog the valve and explode the jar. IF you had a really large jar and only filled it 1/2 way or so you would probably be fine. But truthfully it's kind of a waste to deal with less that a couple of gallons of beer at a shot. Brewers might be able to use it for starters, but there are simpler alternatives.Cider doesn't foam much at all so it should work, and I don't believe wine foams a lot but am not sure. Mead would also probably work. Chemically there would be no problem. The one beer use that might make sense is for doing small batch sour beers. If you use this for the long term secondary there isn't a foaming issue.
Question:	Do you set the timer at 1 and it counts up? Or do you set it for the number of days you want to ferment and it counts down
Answer:	Turn it to the day of the month you started fermentation then you can know on your calendar how long it’s fermented for
Question:	Do you still need to weight your ferment? Website tips give suggestions for weighting, but if removing oxygen with pump is it needed
Answer:	Although a weight is not required we still recommend you use some sort of method to keep your veggies under the brine. Any veggies above the brine will not properly ferment. If the veggies are naturally submerged then there are no issues but it is better if you find a way to keep them under. During the early stages of the ferment the carbon produced will actually push the oxygen out of the Easy lid while the lid also ensures zero oxygen can enter. The pump is used more in the later stages of the ferment when you are opening the jar to test and there is little carbon being produced. (We want these to remove work from you - not add any). Also, if you add a starter culture that magnifies the amount of probiotics, the veggies will ferment perfectly even without pounding them first.

Answer:	After loading the contents, cover the lid, and align the vacuum pump with the air lock valve in the middle of the cover to pump it until the handle of the vacuum pump cannot be pulled.

Fermentation weight in fact is not a must for Fermenting process,but please noted if you do not use glass weight,you should make sure your veggies below the brine during fermenting process.This is also the effect of glass weight. Even so,we still suggest you use glass weight,since it is much more convenient for making pickles to keep veggies below the brine. Question:	The directions on the box are vague and unclear. where can i find precise and thorough directions? as well as recipes? unusable without these items
Answer:	I simply looked at videos online of others who have used them. They must be put on a tray or they will leak all over if you do not monitor them. The syringe is a 1 inch opening that drawer out you must hold it straight and suction by pulling up and pushing down quickly. Some only want to draw slowly and it won't work that way. You will see bubbles moving. Do it near a sink. I think they work great once you know how to use them. After the first week you don't have over flow issues.

Water used for preparing brine or starter culture should be as free from contaminants as possible, for the best-tasting fermented vegetables. Answer:	I advise roughly 2-3 tablespoons of seed. You should soak for 8 - 24 hours. Then rinse daily 3 times for roughly 4 - 6 days.

Answer:	As long as you use the lids with one way valves; that come with the kit should work. I use it to seal dehydrated hot peppers with food grade desiccant to absorb moisture in wide mouth mason jars. Worked for me.
