Answer:	We aren’t using it under a booster seat but it has enough thickness to it that I think it would probably help to keep the indents at a minimum.

Answer:	I don’t think it’s heat resistant and I wouldn’t put hot items in this. We used it for a outside baby shower and loaded it with ice. The food stayed cold and their was plenty of ice left at the end of the party. If you are looking for a way to keep food hot you can’t beat the triple crock pot unit.
