Answer:	I don't know the relative size/dimensions of the butter you mention. The inside dimensions of the butter dish are: 2" in height; width of 3 3/4" at the base, but inclining toward a 2 1/4" width at the top; 5 1/4" length. I love the dish and use it daily. The only disadvantage is that it is heavy, so picking it up out of the refrigerator requires carefully positioning your hand for the best grip (must be a very wide grip if you only use one hand). Because the top rests snugly into the bottom, it is difficult to pick the dish up from the base only. Perhaps I just haven't developed a smooth technique, but for me, its pretty much a two-handed job. Nevertheless, I wouldn't give it up or go back to a plastic butter dish.

Cleaning and care

Cleaning: Before the first use, wash the dish in hot, soapy water, and rinse and dry thoroughly. For most day-to-day cleaning, cool the dish for a few minutes before washing and drying, or wash in the dishwasher, allowing the full cycle to complete. Never leave a dish fully immersed in water.

For removal of stubborn residues allow the dish to cool, fill with warm, soapy water and allow it to soak for 10 to 20 minutes. Wash in the usual way using a plastic brush or scouring pad if necessary.
