Answer:	You can, I tried with a Dasani bottle. You will just to be careful to keep the bottle upright cause you lose the ability to have it snug in the water bowl part.

Answer:	lol, didn't see the other answer, so there you go.not sure, maybe. searched online but no description from the company. a few websites said it is made of melamine and non-toxic plastic. didn't say what type of plastic but melamine is dishwasher safe.

The beans need to be ground at an “espresso setting”, any barista can grind them for you. Besides, if you plan on using basic wasteful k cups, don’t spend so much money on a machine that’s just going to give you the most basic brew you could ask for.
