Answer:	I just made my first two batches (using 3-quart mason jars rather than a pitcher).One was half a cucumber (sliced) and a sprig of mint. The other was one tangerine and a half a lime (both sliced) in a 50-50 mix of plain and seltzer water. Both came out delicious; the cucumber/mint in particular is very refreshing.I'm going to try strawberries and mint next time.

Answer:	Our household loves it..we go through fits where it is filled with just about any conceivable fruit, veggie, herb or combination...then we'll forget and not use it for a week..I've had it for just shy of a year and no issues..we try to hand wash..maybe the heating/cooling in a dishwasher added to some people's issue with cracking...we wash, rinse, refill, repeat...teens and college students think it's the "bomb"...we've found we all like the water when it's 1/2 hour to a few hours old..after a day or so the fruit gets waterlogged, ugly and the flavor it too much of a good thing..

Question:	Can the tea basket be used for cold or hot brew coffee as well
Answer:	I would not suggest it. The basket is hardly big enough for grounds to expand or make sufficient contact with the water. The filter will also acquire the flavor of coffee so if you want to use it for tea as well, it will always taste vaguely of coffee.
Question:	Can the top be closed with out any of the plastic inserts
Answer:	Yes. I have to warn you, though, that it leaks when you are pouring from it. Also, it's hard to fully empty because of the design - there is an inner lip on the black part on top. No big deal until you go to wash it and then have a hard time emptying the soapy water from it.
Question:	Can this be used for hot liquids or just cold
Answer:	for most herbal teas, 180 degrees is the proper temp, its a sizzling boil not the rolling boil, you want to oxygenate the water not sterilize it. I pour the water in a quart measuring cup take the temp and adjust the temperature, we enjoy the better. Hint: do not tighten cap to much when it is hot, expansion from heat & then contraction from cooling tends to Over tightens & makes it difficult to re-open

Question:	Does this come as a set of 5 as shown in the photo
Answer:	No. What they are showing are the different colors they come in.
Question:	will this bottle hold soda water without leaking
Answer:	I have used club soda, I know there is a slight difference in the two, with peeled lemons in my bottle without an issue. I do not shake it up or fill it all the way up to the top due to the carbonation. Hope that helps.
Question:	Can i use a tea bag in this
Answer:	You could put it in center infuser area but I don’t think hot water would be wise though.
Question:	Any recommendations on how long you can reuse whatever your infusing the water with? How long (i.e. 1 day) or how many refills before replacing fruit
Answer:	If I use a lemon I reuse it for 2 days...but I do put the infuser water bottle in the refrigerator overnight, and then keep refilling it with water on the 2nd day. By the end of the 2nd day I throw everything away. When I use strawberries, cucumbers, etc. I use them one day only....because they spoil quicker. By the end of that day I throw them out, and start from scratch the next morning.

Answer:	I am not sure. I have only used cold brew tea bags
Question:	Can you make sun tea in this pitcher? I see the plastic is free of several chemicals to avoid, but wondering if putting it in the sunshine is bad
Answer:	Putting any plastic in a place where it can get warmed up is very bad. Heat causes plastic to leach chemicals.
Question:	I’m not familiar with this material, was looking fir glass. Is this ok to sit outside to make sun tea
Answer:	Yes, I make sun tea all the time and is lighter than glass and will not break if dropped but it is tall and occupies space inside the fridge.
Question:	if you don't infuse fruit, what is the advantage of this pitcher as opposed to using boiling water and tea bags in a plastic pitcher
Answer:	It provides you the option of using loose tea, as well as bags. And for whatever reason, the tea I cold brew seems to taste better than using the same tea and brewing it with hot water. I've tried several different types of Green tea using this pitcher to cold brew, as well as using the same tea prepared in a traditional manner. The cold brew method yields better tasting tea (to me anyways) almost every time. I have tea cold brewing in this pitcher in the fridge basically 24/7/365. Other than the unwieldy size if this pitcher , it is flat out awesome.

For hot brewing, use water at 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow water from kettle to stop boiling and settle at least 30 seconds before pouring into pitcher. Lid must remain off for a minimum of 3 minutes while brewing to allow steam to escape. Brew for 3-5 minutes, to taste.

Step 3

Remove the Brew Core and enjoy perfectly brewed tea.

Step 1

Place loose leaf tea (recommended) or tea bag(s) directly into Brew Core. The pitcher is designed to hold 14 cups of water and 12 tablespoons of loose tea with the core in place.

Step 2

Insert Brew Core inside pitcher and slowly pour water into the Brew Core to fill the remainder of the pitcher with water to cover leaves or up to the top of the windows in the core.

Step 3

Tighten lid and place in refrigerator to cold brew. Tea brews in 4-10 hours. Remove Brew Core from iced tea. Easily screw off bottom of Brew Core to release used tea leaves. Serve and enjoy the best iced tea! Tea can be stored up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
