Also; there is no record of Lead and Cadmium leaching into the contents from any form of crystal products which contain them (they are molecularly bound to, and within the glass), and if these did contain either, I think you have nothing to worry about on all counts. To be absolutely safe though; if one should happen to be dropped and breaks - Don't eat the pieces. All jokes aside. When lead is used in the beautification of crystal products it is in a state within the crystal which cannot dissolve into the contents and too many people have bought into the well earned concern when lead and cadmium and such things are used in paints and similar products for coloring, but have become stigmatized by the words alone and see the word lead specifically and go into a tizzy panic over nothing when it is used in anything even remotely associated with food. If it could leach from the glass to the contents it would take CENTURIES!!!!
