Answer:	I guess it was rubber. The whole set was so cheap that I was embarrassed to give it to my 6 year old nephews. The rubber band might have lasted a week it was so thin and flimsy. I remember when paddle balls were fun. These were impossible to use. They give “cheap” a bad name. We pitched them.

Answer:	When laid flat without stretching it's around 15". When playing Paddle Ball it stretches out much further (of course); I'd say at least double that size or more. Amazingly, my paddle ball is still working great. Not only fun, they are great stress busters while at work and I use to buy them by the dozen because they broke so easily. But not anymore -- I only buy this brand; they are sturdy and well-made, like back-in-the-day. :-)

Answer:	Our products are microwave safe, meaning they won't warp or melt under microwave heat and there is no danger of chemicals leaching into your food as it cooks. We recommend using oven mitts to remove your plate anytime you microwave food on it.

Answer:	We manufacture all of our products with true porcelain. They do not contain bone china. Hard-paste porcelain and soft-paste porcelain are generally differentiated by the firing temperature. Hard-paste porcelain is usually fired around 1400°C and soft-paste porcelain is typically fired around 1200°C. We fire our products at 1300 degrees Celsius (2372° F).

Answer:	We offer a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you receive a plate that is cracked, or it cracks within a year with normal use, we will absolutely replace it.
