Question: Hi......for those who have had this set for awhile can you please let me know how it has held up with time in the dishwasher? any fading or cracking
Answer: I bought these dishes last year and they are my "every day" dishes so I always put them in the dishwasher for cleaning. No fading or cracking on them has occurred for me. I also place cooked food into the bowls and plates of this set and then put them into my convection oven to keep those foods warm while I finish cooking other foods so that all the food is hot when served. I frequently put the salad/sandwich plates in my microwave oven to cook or heat up food/liquids. I've had no problems with this set of dishes.

Answer: Yes. In comparison to my cheap Target dishes (only 1 of which has chipped after 8 years) 3 mugs have lost their handles and 1 bowl has been chipped from our Gibson Elite dishes (after 3 years). They do chip relatively easily.

Answer: Yes. Knives have left marks on the plates, mainly when used to cut food. And spoons have left some marks on the bowls if you use them to scrape food off the walls. Most of the marks become less obvious after being washed. Because of the texture and spots of the paint most of the marks actually look like they belong.
Question: Are these microwave & dishwasher safe
Answer: Hi, I use mine on a rug and it works fine. I really like it. Definitely minimize sitting at the desk.
