Answer:	I have never seen these with lids nor have I seen any lids advertised as being sold separately. These can be purchased with a shallow tray that covers half of the bin, though the trays fall into bin unless one is very careful moving the tray around. The tray is deep enough for tubes of herbs etc.

Answer:	It depends on which you buy. There is one that is 8” tall by 8” wide, and one 6” tall by 8” wide.

Answer:	The edges have a bit of a curved lip, but still fit two on a shelf in my side by side fridge. I have one in the veggie crisper that I use to hold loose veggies; onions, green peppers, radishes. Much easier to clean when necessary than removing the whole drawer or shelf.

Answer:	these bins are very sturdy plastic. I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use them sideways like that. Maybe if you purchase one of them and try it out the way you describe and see for yourself if it works for you. Then get more if you need to. (I got the largest size bins available for my fridge, but there are smaller ones, which are rectangular, as well as some which are square) I haven't bought the square ones yet but I will probably use some in my produce drawer to keep things separated... so my apples don't touch the onions, that sort of thing

Answer:	i don't have this size, but the walls are all about 1/8th of thick, so you could safely subtract a 1/4" from the width or length to get the inside dimensions. also the corners are rounded so if you are storing perfectly straight items you may lose some additional space due the rounded corners.

Answer:	It should be fine. I wonder if it might be too large to snuggly hold golf club bags. But the clip/hooks are moveable, so you should be able to tighten it up.
