Answer:	I bought it for my mother, so I thought it was for a woman. The writing is script, so it looks quite feminine, but the cup is brown, which is a bit more masculine. I guess it could go either way, but it is pretty feminine.

Answer:	I have not washed mine yet. But i did throw it in the dryer when i first took it out of the package to fluff it up. That helped a LOT with the smell. I had the same question though, wasn't sure the whole pillow could be washed or not. All i know is I LOVE THIS PILLOW!!!

Answer:	According to another website, Yes Made in China, and material described as Ceramic (not Stoneware), so with Ceramic Lead Leaching could be an issue depending if they used a Lead-Free Glazing process on the Ceramic. That info I have not been able to find. Mugs from China can be fine if Glazing is Lead-Free, or they are the Stoneware (high temp firing) type of Ceramic.
