Answer:	The circumference of this item is made for Champagne Bottles, so it's larger than standard wine bottles. The neck could be tightened to fit a wine bottle, however the rest of the sleeve would not be in contact with a wine bottle and so the cooling effect would be lost. It's recommended to use an active cooler wine cooler for wine bottles and keep this one for Champagne bottles only.
Question:	can the champaign sleeve be tightened enough to use with a wine bottle
Answer:	No, the ice packs are integrated into the sleeve. When flat the sleeve is 1 1/4 x 6 x 7. Hopefully, it will fit.
