Answer: I have not experienced any problems with Bourbon. I rarely leave any thing in the flask for more than 1-2 days. I usually rinse the flask out before in put liquor in it and after I finish with the flask. I will try to dry it out as best I can, but it is difficult with the small mouth on the flask.

Answer: - Yes it can :) - I need to offer one caution, though: Graniteware is enamelled steel and comparatively thin. So it transfers heat almost instantly, meaning, it's super-easy to burn your food! So just keep that in mind if you intend to brown ingredients before adding the liquid to make your stock, AND if you're making something that's more like stew, rather than something thin like stock, and keep the heat as low as possible for your item(s) too cook. ALSO stir *frequently*. - All of that being said, I like my Graniteware items a lot because they're very light to pick up and maneuver, especially for cleannig afterwards ;) , and because they *do* heat quickly, and conversely, also cool down quickly when everything is done cooking. It's a bit like the opposite of a Dutch Oven ;) - Hopefully that tells you what you need to know :)

Answer: The only glass top stove I can think of that this pot wouldn't work on are induction type. If your glass cooktop heats an aluminum pans ok, you shouldn't have any trouble. The pan has no idea what kind of stove it is sitting on.

Answer: To be honest I'm not sure. I purchased this to make collard greens and gumbo since I cook so much of it. I read other reviews where some of the metal fell off into the pot while cooking but I didn't have any problems. Having said that, my concern would be if the maple sap might be too sticky for it. Maybe try boiling a small amount and see what happens. Hope all works out for you.

Answer: You can go up to 100 proof, but, it does have a tendency to to make some feel bullet proof and 10 feet tall. Others have a pretty good tolerance for it. I have found, for example, that I tend to become the funniest person I know. So depending on your tolerance, I would recommend small doses to start with to see if you are a fun screener or a "how did it come to this" screener. I recommend ingesting small amounts at a time. If your skin is sensitive and your booze is good, I would try my hardest not to spill it on your skin, keeping your sensitive skin safe and your clothing unstained. In extreme cases, you could end up completely exposed to the elements and wondering how you got sunburned "there". Use as directed and always remember that you are usually not as funny or bullet proof as you think you are.
