Answer:	I don't know the exact size but it's huge. Larger than any belt I've ever worn. I think it's made to fit over the military canvas belts that are around 4 inches wide.

Answer:	It does not say that on the box but the sheath is plastic and the knife is entirely coated. I believe any knife is waterproof and saltwater resistant so long as you are willing to clean and dry it after each use in said condition.

Answer:	The bottoms are hard. But comfortable when wearing.
Question:	How can a 14" knife measure 8 7/8" overall
Answer:	All slippers should be washable. I assure you though that these are NOT. After just a limited amount of wear I washed them in an HE washer on gentle because I like clean slippers & the insides of the soles (the innards that make the sole cushy) deteriorated completely...it is several layers of plastic stuff & foam & it came out in pieces.
