Answer:	This choppers real main drawback is the proximity of the blades. Large pieces or hard veggies like broccoli will get caught between the blades. The blades are more than sharp enough to chop hard veggies and nuts, but they get clogged often. When I purchased this, I was looking for a chopper similar to what you would see used at Subway, however, I have yet to find a consumer chopper that works as advertised.

Answer:	They are slightly asymmetrical (the thumb loop) and no doubt intended for right-handers. However, while maybe slight less comfy, I find that they work just as well left-handed.

Answer:	I have had mine for several years. They still work well and come apart easily for washing. I recommend them without reservation

Answer:	The actual cutting portion of the blades are 3 1/2 ". These have serration on one blade for easier cutting of meat, trimming gristle, fat etc. have a notch for cutting poultry bones, a rubberized grip for non slip and easy for these crippled hands to use, a very nice durable sheath, All in all a very nice pair of kitchen scissors. Was really pleased with them.
