Answer:	A little WD40 first and a snug fitting large screw driver. After once removed the screws come out easily.

Answer:	We do a lot of beef jerky. It does slice it raw, but not great. However, it works phenomenally when it's partially frozen.

Answer:	This slicer would probably slice small pieces of frozen meat such as narrow sausage rolls. I mainly use it to slice jerky meat, which I partially thaw before slicing. Two items should be noted about this slicer: (1) the blade must be removed for proper cleaning and (2) the instructions were not written by someone knowledgeable in English.

Question:	What is the use of this slicer machine
Answer:	The battery is the exact size required. I have an Elite 2 Lobster. For my machine the whole electronic is connected to the battery by two female connectors what are pugged to the male connector suppose to be on the battery side. The battery came just with screw and nut connection, so I have to make the male connectors, screw it to the battery, and connect to the machine. I do not know if Elite V has the same connection to the battery. If you remove the 6 screws to expose the battery, you can see how it is the connection to your battery. Nothing wrong with the battery, has lot of power, I used for 3-4 hours without loosing power,

1.Do not try to slice bone. It is important to only slice foods which do not contain bone. This can cause damage to your slicer.



2.Do not slice fully thawed meat. The best texture is one which is almost frozen. It is the same as if you were to slice chicken breasts in order to fillet them into very thin slices. Anyone who has tried to do this understands that it is very difficult to achieve a nice even cut when the meat is fully thawed. The same applies with a slicer. Trying to thinly slice foods which are, for lack of a better term, floppy – just doesn’t work.



3.Do not skimp on the cleaning. It is important that the parts has to be taken down seperately to clean after every use. This is an important part of maintenance. The better you keep it clean and in good condition, the longer it will last.



4.Do not wash in the dishwasher. Do not try to wash any part of your slicer in the dishwasher. The hard detergents are not suitable for these appliances. Instead wash with warm soapy water and do not rush this process in order to make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembly.

Answer:	It seems very sturdy, whether it will hold up to that quantity of meat I am not sure. I am very pleased with it for the purpose I use it for, which is slicing lunch meats.

Answer:	You can make a 7 inch slice. I make venision chip steak with it and it slices very nice.
Question:	Can you cut Frozen meat
Answer:	I haven't used it on frozen meat yet, but I can imagine after using it on refrigerated meat, it will work well on frozen meat also. You will have to go a little slower and not let it bog down, but I am planning on freezing my sirloin tip roasts before I cut next time to get a more consistent cut for making jerky. I am going to let it thaw a bit first before attempting it.
