Answer:	yes, it could be used to grinder walnuts, but not shell.

Answer:	It will grind,but it rough to do so. Material grinder is made of is very cheap. I ground herbs and the grinder only lasted a week.

Answer:	Sure, but that's not what it's made for and it wouldn't do a very good job. Just buy an adjustable salt grinder, you'll be much happier. This is a great grinder for herbs, but I wouldn't use it for salt.

Answer:	No. This is designed to convert leafy herbs into flakes/powder. I bought this specifically for nutmeg (I’ll have to read the description again to understand why) and there is no this design would work. This is not a burr grinder that nuts of meg require. It’s a beautiful little appliance but I don’t smoke that no more so this is going back.

Answer:	You are correct. The company is trying to be too cute by half. The steak knives are poorer quality than the other knives in the set. The steak knives in this set match this other Emojoy set with ASIN #B079GT5P8N (the URL is too long to paste). And the steak knives that match the look and quality of the main knives in this set are sold separately as a set of four - ASIN #B07C3TKW8D. I wrote the company about this but apparently the sales are so good, that they do not want to match the quality of the knives. You have to make a judgement call if you want to make this purchase. The knife set as a whole is good, but knowing that the company actually has better steak knives to put in this set makes me believe they find it financially beneficial to compose it like this.

Answer:	No. It does not need to be. There are 2 turning wheels for each side of the knife and the angle is perfect. There are 2 wheels that are coarse and 2 that are fine .This makes for 4 wheels spinning slowly and at the correct angle

Answer:	I have no idea what would have caused it to get "Stuck" the wheels should stop turning long before the knife would stick. All you are really needing to do is guide the knife edge along the turning stone in a gentle slow manner. I use mine in a restaurant environment and while it doesn't quite give the "new" edge, It does a pretty good job.
