Answer:	Hi. Yes the water needs to be on for the full cycle. However, only the cold water as the unit heats water as it needs it. The water drains 99% back into the sink. The instructions are to turn off the water and then open the machine at the end of the cycle. Also, disconnect the hose and let it drain into the sink. There’s not very much water in the hose.
Question:	Does this model have a heated dry cycle

Answer:	Yes for the 4 cup size. In fact one of the photos from Oxo shows it being used with a stick blender. The tall sides prevent spills as long as you don't overfill it -- I wouldn't go past 2 1/2 cups for smoothies with fruit and ice cubes. Obviously more full is okay with smooth ingredients.

Answer:	While the bottom of a 2-cup is small enough to fit in the top of another 2-cup, the overlap between the two nesting cups won't be more than an inch. So, not really. I have the1/2, 1, 2, & 4 cup and they nest nicely, but I'm pretty sure same size cups won't nest very well.

Answer:	While I do not know how the colors are made, I do not believe it is legal to sell toxic dinnerware.

Answer:	I no longer have my set as they were burned along with all my household goods in a wildfire. However, to the best of my recollection, they are made in China. Wherever they were made, they were crafted with care and had a beautiful, smooth finish on them that was integral to each piece. They were definitely dishwasher safe!

Question:	How wide is the widest part of the knife holder
Answer:	Very hard. Best cutting board. We had a marble one for years and it finally snapped in half. These cutting boards I love because once veggies or meat is cut up, not too heavy, you can pick up easily and scoop into pan. We use one each for meat, veggies and bread. Great quality. I have very sharp knives and they don’t even leave marks on the board.
Question:	This may be a dumb question but, it says 13 piece knife set. Is that 12 knifes and then the block, scissors, peeler, and sharpener to make 16 pieces
Answer:	it's about 1/3 inch, thicker than my expectation.it comes with 3 cutting boards in different size.
Question:	Are these knives NSF certified
Answer:	The cutting boards are both sides can be used for cutting. Both sides have the non-grip feature. We have been using it a couple of months. No discoloration so far. We are loving this.

Answer:	I do not know. I never received it.
