Answer:	That's a great question! Irradiation is a process used to remove toxins - things like molds, fungi, bacteria, yeast, etc. Pure Clay is taken straight from a spot deep in the earth, dried briefly, then carefully packaged. We had it thoroughly tested both for mineral content and for possible microbial content (all the stuff listed above) and there were no microbial toxins in it. YES!!! Pure Clay is perfect for body wraps. For the most effectiveness take a hot shower to open up your pores. Mix the clay as you would for a mask (we like to use organic apple cider vinegar for mixing) and then apply liberally to the area you want to wrap, covering the skin completely. You can use either plastic wrap or ace bandages soaked in warm water to wrap the area, to keep it hydrated longer. Pure Clay works most powerfully when it is hydrated. Relax peacefully for 40 minutes to an hour. Rinse off with warm (not hot) water. Apply moisturizer to the area. (We like organic coconut oil.) Drink lots of water! The area will be red for a little while (because the clay draws the blood flow to the surface) but this is normal and means the clay is working to draw toxins out of your body! Answer:	I use it as often as I want. Every morning, if I feel like it and have the time. I usually put on a fairly thin layer as I don't feel it necessary to have a quarter inch of mud on my face. I mostly drink about a half teaspoon twice a day, or so. I guess you can use quite a bit more (as per the instructions on the Pure Clay website), but I don't.
