Answer:	Hello! Thanks for your question, it's 10.75 inches LOA with a 5 inch cutting edge, 1.25 of it being serrated,1.5 inches at its widest point and almost a 1/4 inch thick... you wont find a bigger, more rugged knife in any other survival kit!

Answer:	It sure does! I personally tested it opening a can of chicken noodle soup which I then heated by a fire started with the fire starter!

Answer:	The stud appears to be a bit of a weak point on this knife. I've purchased six of these for friends and on a couple the stud was canted and not completely set right in the blade. It is screwed in with weak threads. I have not tried reversing the stud to the opposite side. My guess is that it would likely damage what few threads there are. It seems more aesthetic than utilitarian. But for under $30...oh well.
