Answer:	For 4 eggs about 1and a half minutes, of course depending on size of eggs and how many you put in and how soft or hard you want it, you just have to play around with it a bit to find out which is best for you.

Answer:	I have only ever made 4 eggs at once. I always use jumbo eggs. This is what I do. Put 1/2 tsp. of water into each egg cup. Then crack the egg and center the yolk into the cup. Put another 1/2 tsp. of water on top of the eggs. Then poke the whites and the yolk of each egg several times with a sharp knife. Cover and cook on a medium to medium high setting. For my microwave, I use power level 7. Set the timer for 2 minutes because it is 30 seconds per egg. Then leave the container in the microwave or on your counter without removing the lid for at least 1 - 2 more minutes. When I remove my cover, my eggs are perfect. Remove the eggs carefully. This is the biggest challenge when cooking 4 eggs. Adjust this method accordingly to your microwave, size of your eggs, and how many you are cooking. Remember, 30 seconds per egg. This should do it. Answer:	I no longer have the directions, but what I do that works is put 1/2 teaspoon of water in each well, add the eggs, add another 1/2 teaspoon of water on top of each egg, puncture the yokes a couple of times with a fork, then microwave for 30 seconds per egg. Adjust time according your your oven's power.

Answer:	You may have too much water in the pan, causing them to float; go half pan of water max. Don’t overlap the lift tabs. Those have been my only issues. I have no problems from that poit

Question:	I have an induction stove, which I understand won't work with this poacher. Could I use the insert in another, induction-friendly skillet
Answer:	non-magnetic stainless steel won't work on induction top and I'm not sure what is inside the pan
Question:	To where should I fill the water
Answer:	I cannot remember, but it said on the box to use like 3 cups of water or so. What I do is I place the egg poachers in the pan and fill the water level until they start to float, then pour a tiny bit out until the poachers no longer float (as they are seated on the metal instead) Make sense? It's better to use too much water than not enough, because it protects your pan. Obviously, the more water you have in there though, the longer it will take it to boil. Probably what we SHOULD do is measure out the correct amount of water and then etch the pan with a line of our own..... I hope this answers your question. If not let me know.

Answer:	I have not tried jumbo eggs, but think they might spill over the cup holders as extra-large eggs "just fit".

Answer:	This is a stainless steel item, not non-stick by definition. You don't want a non-stick pan or poacher cups due to the non-stick chemicals that will erode over time and get in your food.

Answer:	The bottom of these cups have a circular ridge on them all 6 should fit in your pan without the holder that comes with it. The cups are free standing. So whether you want 2, 4, or 6 eggs poached they will stand up good . Water level should be no more than 2/3 up on the side of the cups and a slight book not a rolling one. And, yes I still love mine.

Answer:	I put about an inch of water, cover and bring to boil. Meanwhile, spray cups and break eggs into cups - I use extra large. When water boils, remove lid, put in cups and recover. Turn down heat, but keep low boil going. Time for 4.5 mins. If you'd like to make more eggs then you plan to eat and would like to serve them later. Prepare an ice water bath before you start the cooking. When the eggs are done, plunge them immediately into the water bath and let sit until they are completely cooled. Wrap them with a damp paper towel on a plate, covered w/plastic wrap & refrigerate. When ready, bring a pot of water to boil. Submerge eggs and cook just 1 minute remove and dry w/paper towel. They are ready to serve & perfect, every time! I have a B&B and make these all the time...reduces stress in the morning by "prepping" them the night before.

Answer:	I've been changing my cookware over to stainless because the teflon isn't good for you. But, with the egg poacher, you're only using steam to cook the egg. Frying foods in teflon is when it's bad. I love this egg poacher and have no reservations about it.
