Answer:	I have the 4 egg version. It is something of a trial for time, however if you manage to center the unit well, the eggs are similarity cooked. I put my 4 in for 70 seconds in 1200 watt and get 2 over easy, 2 over medium. Occasionally I add 5 seconds more.

Answer:	I have only had mine for a short time, however the non stick coating is made of a quality material and if you hand wash them after each use I believe they should last for quite some time. I do spray a little Pam on mine before using. The eggs slide very easy either way.

Answer:	I was going to ask the same question on this product. To answer others question why...to cook both the rice and the eggs at the same time (boiled not poached). I'm hoping I can use it in a pan while cooking my mexican rice.

Answer:	The metal legs don't move when you put it in the pan so I wouldn't think it would scratch as long as you are careful. The edges are of the rack are smooth. I use it in a regular pan so I can't say for certain.

Answer:	I have not had any accumulation, except when I lift the lid, and hold it at a tilt over an egg, and water drips down the lid, which, by the way it says not to do in the instructions. When you lift your lid, hold it level until you get it away from the cooking pot. It should only take four or five tries to get this technique down.

Answer:	Just be careful, hold it back somewhere in the middle and don't do any abrupt movements - my husband broke one hinge this way :( So make sure you are opening it smoothly. But good news - it still serves perfectly even with one hinge! That's why this poacher is really great.

Answer:	Crack 1 egg into each cup of the egg poacher base. Pierce each egg yolk with a fork, ( I just poke each yolk with the tip of a sharp knife Once each). Add 1/2 tsp of water to each cup . (Add water to empty cup if only cooking 1 egg. 1 egg cooks for 30-45 sec, For 2 eggs cook for 45-60 seconds . Cooking time varies based on different microwaves and your cooked preference. Answer:	I’m using a Coleman aluminum set that comes in a small black mesh bag. It’s been the perfect size for the stove and I’ve actually fed myself and a guest with ease including a hot beverage. I also use a small stainless wire grill for cooking meat/fish that packs nicely with the stove.

The Folding Fire Box works on hinges to open and collapse the stove although they are almost the same size. The Folding Fire Box in many ways is the swiss army knife of camping wood burning stoves. But you will pay a premium for it. Answer:	it's designed to poach eggs and they come out flatter than a boiled egg..if you let it cook longer than suggested it would probably be like a boiled egg..hope that helps

Answer:	I don’t remember the directions but I spray a small amount of vegetable spray (Pam) before using. Some put a few drops of water on top of the eggs but I prefer the spray. I microwave mine for about 52 seconds and get the results I like. I also cover the device because once in a while an egg will pop, making a mess inside your microwave.

User questions & answers

Question:	In the instructions it says "pour water to fill line". Is the fill line the point where the plastic meets the metal cup
Answer:	Hi. No it's not. It's hard to see but there's line and a water drop molded into the plastic just above the metal and next to the area where the holes are. There is one on each side of the perforated area, maybe an 8th of an inch above the metal. It's important that hot water be able to reach the top of the egg. I try to submerge the holder deeper than the fill line and swirl some hot water into the cup over the egg to keep the temp up.
Question:	How long do you poach the eggs to cook them? I have forgotten the directions
Answer:	I cook them about 4 minutes + or - . bring WATER to full boil , THEN lower to med. heat add eggs - start timing . I watch till I see the ' doneness ' I want then remove . hope this helps .
Question:	Is the cup where the egg sits 100% stainless or is there a toxic non-stick or teflon coating
Answer:	The eggs sit in a non coated stainless steel cup. Lightly butter or oil the cup and the eggs slide out. Put 1 TBS of white vinegar in the water which hels to hold the egg whites together. Pretty idiot proof and makes great poached eggs,
Question:	Is the egg in contact with only metal? (I threw away my plastic cup egg poacher) Also, are the any holes in the cup
Answer:	Yes, I use large eggs and those do not overflow the cup as it is all metal. Trick is I also use Crisco spray oil before so egg slides out easily with a couple of drops of vinegar in the boiling water helps keep egg from spilling out while cooking. I really like these especially on my eggs benedict!
