Step1 : Wash the iron wok pan with hot water and dry it on a low fire.
Step2 : Buy a piece of raw fat pork, put into the wok, wipes it till the oil covers the whole wok.
Step3 :Pour out the lard, wash the Chinese wok with hot water and repeat the step 2&3.
Step4 : Till the pork no longer turns black, wash and dry the pan with a small fire, and then apply oil to finish.
Daily Maintenance
1. After cooking, take the food out of the wok in time, dry and grease to prevent rust.

I'm not even sure this regulator would work with natural gas as it is designed for propane. Answer: | Dont remove handle screws. I think handle is a potential design flaw. Two small wood screws holding all that weight in a hot environment. My handle started to loosen day 1. Wood screws in wood cant be perpetually retightened. Eventually the soft wood holes arent going to be able to hols screws tight. Seeminly huge design flaw in an otherwise well-crafted wok. So I wouldnt intentionally remove/loosen the screws any more than I had to. |

Answer: | Sometime it happens because of low air humidity (comparing to where it was made). Firstly, try to put wet towel onto wooden part of handle for a night. If not helps then the option is to unscrew it, put for example small pieces of paper to holes to tighten the connection. Then screw it again. Usually it works. |

Answer: | It is definitely not bump feed. It is claimed to be automatic feed, however I find that feature simply does not work. It is too "fussy" - the ratchet mechanism simply does not release when needed. I find it necessary to stop work every now and again, remove the spool cover, and extend the line by hand. This is a shame, since in other respects the unit is well thought out. And Ii am using the correct gauge line - whether the spool comes pre-loaded from B&D, or I reload an empty one with aftermarket line, the result is the same. |

I've done just one, and it has been in use most of the Summer. I hand wound it slowly and meticulously so it would feed properly, and so far it has worked without a problem. |

I believe lots of people are upset with this product.I had to jury rig the trimmer. Answer: | The bottom has concentric rings alternating high and low. So it is better for a gas stove/fire. It heats on a glass stove top, but takes a while because the flat part is so small and the high rings don’t touch the heating surface. |
