Answer:	NO. This is anodized aluminum, I think, and they are the best pans I have ever had. They are non stick and don't peel off or scratch like Teflon. However, I do use non metal utensils. I don't put mine in the dishwasher either, but they are so incredibly easy to clean. They heat evenly and do not warp. I would definitely recommend these.

Answer:	Sadly, no lid Jason. I used it every day for a few weeks last summer on the campfire, propane and twig stove. It gets up to heating very fast, so you need to keep your eyes on it and remove prior to potential warpage. Mine has retained it's form, no problem. Great piece of kit as far as I'm concerned. I used a found cake foil tray as a lid, also a frisbee wrapped in heavy duty foil as more of a protection for the initial cooking, then whipped it off to get a grand whiff of ye olde bacon etc.

Question:	Is the non-stick surface PTFE-free
Answer:	Old question but I will hopefully answer correctly. From the information I have gathered thus far, all aluminum products have the same or similar coating as other non-stick cookware. So, I don't know the value of using aluminum over traditional non-stick other than maybe specific considerations for heat/etc. According to a quick general search, non-stick coatings should be PTFE free. when reseraching specifically aluminum, research says the aluminmum is coasted in a layer of "oxide". Maybe that means it is a thin layer of a nonsticky metal. That is where my info ends, I can't get any more specifics. In the end I al staying away from anything saying non-stick/coating.

It works well on my induction cook top.

Question:	Can Bella send me a new handle? Mine was delivered broken
Answer:	I just got mine. It came without the knob and screw for the lid. Amazon wanted me to rebox the whole thing and return it so I could get another one with all the parts. I told them “just send me the missing parts. It will be easier, cheaper and I would be satisfied” I then the manufacturer and they said I had to go through the seller. My problem was not resolved. Luckily a knob fit from an old lid.

With the temperature control set to 300 F - 350 F, bring liquid to a boil. Turn temperature control dial down just until indicator light goes out. This is the simmer point. Cover. Then heat it (dry and empty) for 5 minutes at 450 degrees, then shut it off and let it cool for at least 15 minutes. This will help in keeping the non-stick surface non-stick and will also eliminate the burn mark some people have claimed."

BELLA Strawberries and Cream Skillet Shortcake

3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

4 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 cups granulated white sugar

4 eggs, 1 cup milk

1 tbsp vanilla extract

2 lb strawberries, hulled and chopped, divided

1 cup 35% heavy cream

1/4 cup icing sugar

Instructions

1) PREHEAT Bella Copper Ceramic Skillet to 275˚F. Line bottom of skillet with square of parchment paper.

2) Meanwhile, in bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In separate bowl and using electric mixer, beat butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, incorporating each one fully before adding the next addition. Beat in vanilla.

3) With mixer on low, add flour mixture in 3 parts and milk in 2 parts, starting and ending with flour mixture, and scraping down bowl as needed. Fold in 2 cups chopped strawberries.

4) Scrape batter into skillet, smoothing top. Bake for 30-40 min or until tester inserted into center comes out clean.

5) Whip cream and icing sugar until peaks form. Spread over cake; top with remaining strawberries.

Question:	Where is this product manufactured
Answer:	What makes you think you can't use olive oil with this pan? Perhaps you are confused about the statement that you do not need to "season the cast iron pan with oil"? FYI - UNcoated cast iron pans do require that you "season" them with oil before you cook with them. UNcoated cast iron pans should also never be washed with soap and water. Neither of those statements is true for this ceramic coated cast iron pan.
