Question:	How good is it for the old school electric COIL stove? Will it take a long time to cook unlike using the same wok on gas stove
Answer:	It's deep enough to deep fry, but it's entirely too wide (14 inches dia) to get the depth of oil you would need. Would end up requiring the entire 64 oz bottle of oil. Easier to deep fry in a smaller deep pan, and use the wok to toss the fried chicken and veggies in the General Tso sauce.

Answer:	The older T-Fal 14" Jumbo Wok with Red Thermo-Spot and has a wide 7" Durabase was 'Made in France' -however- The newer T-Fal Jumbo 14" Wok lacks the Red Thermo-Spot and has a tiny 4" base flat bottom and is 'Made in China'. -imho- The newer T-Fal Jumbo 14" Wok with the tiny 4" base flat bottom should be used with a Wok Ring for safety. Both measure about 3-1/4" lip-to-base by 14" outer diameter of the lip, and hold 3-Quarts to the Rivets about 1" from the Lip (5-Quarts to the Lip) -cook-safe-my-friends- ~ RHF

Answer:	I'm using them on a electric stove with a glass counter. I bought another set for my daughter. She uses an electric stove with conventional coils.
Question:	Will these pans work on induction cook tops
Answer:	If I remember correctly, the pan works on induction cook top need to have a magnetic bottom surface. I tried my pan with a magnet clip but unfortunately the clip did not stick on the bottom of this pan so that means this pan will not work on induction cook top. I hope this answer will help you.

Answer:	It will work on glass top electric stove tops. Not sure if it will work with magnetic induction stove tops.

Answer:	Yes, Yes, and Yes. It's imported from Japan. For some unknown reason - and I've contacted T-Fal about this - they only sell their sets with removable handles in Japan and Europe. They are operating under the delusion that everyone in America has a huge kitchens with plenty of kitchen cabinet space. It's a shame - because it's a great set - and oven safe up to 450+. We had a family member send us one.
